but for the love of god, stop it with the fducking trigger-happy topic closing. warn/ban the members involved, clean the topic, and continue the debate. - Quate, you don't like debates, so don't click on them. - Act III, putting other people down doesn't make you look any cooler than you already aren't. - Ethan, idk just stop fducking around. - Diggeh, the fight wasn't started because of the religion topic. One person picked on another, totally out of context. It just happened inside of the topic. the debate was going fine. the argument started about something that was completely off-topic. warn where appropriate and carry on? please? |

Yeah, I agree. The topic was fine until that stupid argument. Completely healthy debate. I wasn't completely sure about the idea of the topic to begin with, but everyone managed to be mature enough and not make it personal. Then the off-topic argument came in and just because of it being in a touchy subjected topic, resulted in the topic's closure. If that had happened in the Brawl thread, I doubt you would've closed it dgh. Kind of sick of the debate threads being closed. |

Just because circumstances may seem to cause reason for flaming, that doesn't mean they deserve it. I mean, Hitler's excuse for killing the Nazis was that they deserved it (for ruining the economy or something, I don't remember). And the fact is, they really didn't. Quate did nothing to deserve being made fun of. (And a note to CERTAIN admins, this is not behavior you should encourage. eg. "I like this guy already." *coughcough* |
