today i found out that my left leg is about 1cm shorter than my right today. lol. i went to the doctor after i've had this weird lump in my chest. turns out, it's part of my ribs coming out a bit because my body is sort of turned to the left. so yeah, i have scoliosis. need to build up chest muscles more now, as there's not much else that can be done. |

Does it bother you, though? 1cm seems like it would be quite a bit for a difference in leg lengths. And can't you get one of those corrective shoes that have one sole thicker than the other to make up for the difference? |

This got moved? o: Forgive me for the lazy typing. I didn't even know about it til yesterday, so the leg difference isn't really much of a problem. I'll need one of those things you put in shoes (the name slips my mind). Anyway, it doesn't really matter at the moment, but it could have an effect when I'm older or something, unless I try to correct the scoliosis. I think I need to go see a physio at some point. To be honest, I don't really know much on the matter. |

Swimming's an option, but it's getting colder and my local pool is now shut for about 6 months. bleh. The doctor said kayaking would be the best and conveniently I live near (couple of Ks) a lake. Not sure where I'd get a kayak though, lol. Or how I'd get down there with it. So that's sort of out. Then there's also martial arts, though it doesn't interest me. |

just do weights. but instead of pulling them up, pull them across your body. (in mid air, left to right) |

Woah, Canberra really is cold isn't it? I mean, it's been chilly, but no pools shut down.. Well, yeah, do what Jamie says, helps ^_^ And the things you put in your shoes are in-soles. |
