If any of you don't know, alcohol is a type of beverage you drink that will get you drunk and sh*t. I have tried a lot of the variations of the stuff (yes, I'm underage...), and I find the stuff to all taste like crap! Pure, unadulterated crap. I still can't find the purpose of drinking such a thing. I mean, why would you want to lose control of yourself and go off, doing even more stupid things, only to blame it on drinking? Totally irrational behavior, in my book... What's your opinion on alcohol? Like the stuff, or do you hate it? Or do you have hopes of drinking it? |

Tom, no one has hopes of drinking alcohol. They only consume the rotten stuff because either something goes wrong in their lives or they're partying. I have no plans to either consume alcohol or to get wasted at some random party in Vegas. Better to study and hang out with friends than to wake up next to a pink Charizard in your bed. |

You obviously haven't met the dreaded "cool group" of the high school facilities. Regardless of having it when you're down or at a party, it's stupid to consume it! Just let the monkeys dance, as they say... |

Actually, my friend B just got wasted at a mutual friend's house. So I've been thinking about it right now. The main reason I don't plan on drinking is because I see what it makes people do to their kids.That's enough incentive not to drink for me. |

Alcohol tastes like crap so I don't know why anyone would want to have it. My grandpa gave me a taste of beer and I almost threw up, lol. Anyways when I'm of age (Only 9 years to go.) I'll probably have it on occasions like having a bit champange on New Years or having a drink or two on my 21st birthday, but in no way am I planning on going and getting myself wasted every night. Especially because of the drunk simulator. It was funny, I kept tripping with those stupid goggles on. |

My mom's an alcoholic, who went into rehabilitation, came out, then threatened to kill herself if we didn't let her start again. My dad's a horrible person when he's drunk. Beer breath makes me want to throw up. I don't see any benefits for drinking alcohol, besides becoming stupid, which only stupid people would think as a benefit. |

I never had any alcohol, I don't plan on it, and it bothers the hell out of me to see a friend drink. I don't go to parties (unless they're friends who ask me to go), and I only go out with my closest friends, and it's never to a bar or the like. I don't really have much direct exposure to alcohol, but I don't at all fancy the prospect of becoming drunk, much less a drunkard. Much the same reason I haven't done and don't plan on doing any drugs. |

I always thought the idea of drinking was idiotic, I mean I never tasted it but I know that alcohol tastes terrible. I honestly don't understand why some people enjoy getting drunk. =| I don't plan on intentionally drinking alcohol, I'd rather not be an alcoholic. >.> |

Alcoholism is a disease. Not anyone who likes alcohol is an alcoholic. I wouldn't necessarily brand it the "cool group". Neither do people get wasted just to drown their sorrows. After a few drinks you become more talkative, which helps a lot if you're shy, or if you're at a party and you don't know anyone - it's an icebreaker. I get drunk, I wouldn't say regularly, but often. And I'll say I've had better times when drunk than when I haven't been. That's probably because people are less inhibited. For the "alcohol tastes like ****" argument, it really depends what you drink. Applecorn and 'wkd' tastes really nice. I don't like beer myself. I felt exactly the same way all of you did, but you don't know what you like until you try several. And @ "alcohol ****s your body up" - It depends how much you drink. The occasional drink of alcohol cleans your system if it's of a high enough concentration because it kills bacteria. Obviously if you drink too much, then yeah. I'm all for it. But the drinking law is stupid, 80% of underage people have been drunk, or drink regularly. In my opinion it would be wiser to let a teenager find his or her feet in terms of drinking so they know their limit. |

I once took a drink of 7-Up that my dad had, then I asked "What is this?" He said "That's 7-Up mixed with beer. Don't drink that." Then my eyes widened and i forgot about it. |

I've never had alcohol. Although I did accidentally get high off a scented bookmark once, but I try to forget that. But meh, I don't really like the idea, mostly since I'm afraid of drinking too much and doing something really, really stupid. But I'm sorta paranoid about stuff like that, so I dunno. |

In response to CapsLOCK: When you start drinking and become every so slightly drunk, one drink can turn into another, and ect... a lot of people I know weren't alcoholics, but had this problem, and quickly got drunk that way. As for me I don't really care what other people do, but I'm a vomitophobe, so no drinks for me. P: |
