Challenges
Challenging in WoS is very simple. You only have to post in someone's registration topic announcing your challenge and request that a battle be opened in the WoS Make My Topic thread. The person is not allowed to refuse. You may only challenge people of the opposite alliance.

Battling
After a battle topic is rightly requested, a Judge will assign each battler a sprite to be made, different for each battler and respecting their categories. Druids will always be assigned sprites of the same class as their opponent. You will have five days to complete your sprite and post it in the battle topic.

Judging
Judging will be done by the three WoS Mods, and will follow a category format. A score of 0 to 10 will be given in each category; bonuses depending on each member's fighting class are then given and deducted and the results are averaged for a score out of 10 from each judge. The final result is given by cumulative points, as awarded by all three judges together.
The judging categories are:
- Originality [O] - Creative development
- Incorporation - How well the spriter transfered his/her assignment into the final product.
- Flow [F] - How well the image goes together as a whole, which may include some aspects of general quality.
- Shading - Technical quality and aesthetic effectiveness of shading decisions.
- Coloring [c] - Technical quality, aesthetic effectiveness and visual compatibility of color and pattern choices.

Leveling
Everyone starts out at level 1. For each battle, the winner grows +1 level and the loser has no level change. The maximum level is 20.

The Ending of the Game
The first eight contestants to reach Level 20 are included in a final contest, which will follow the format exact format of the Monthly Contests. The winner of this round is proclaimed WoS Champion and his respective alliance earns the right to, together, make a new skin.
