I See Dead Laptops... Posts: 1,850 Group: PMR Assistant Member #850 Joined: October 23, 2006	Can we have unlimited time? If it's okay with Kam, I'm sorta busy right now... There are two forms of eclipses, Kam. A lunar eclipse is where the Earth is directly between the sun and the moon, causing the earth's shadow to completely color the moon. The moon turns darker from the shadow for a while- It looks cool, I saw one once. A solar eclipse occurs when the moon is directly between the earth and the sun. The moon blocks out the sun, and you can only see a black shadow in the sky surrounded by a rim of bright light from the sun. This is, apparently, when the sun is most likely to give you eye damage, although I don't get the logic, since if most of it is blocked... Meh.
