Although it is very similar to Christianity in many ways, it is not the same exact thing. We do, however, have a similar belief on God. I think that although there is no physical appearence and stuff, God does exist. He might of just created the world and left it as that, which is reasonable. I really do not see how the Big Bang could of happened. I mean, where did all of that matter that created the Big Bang come from? I think that God existed, but all he might of did was create the universe.

What do you receive by being atheist/pantheistic/wtv? That's right, nothing. And I'm not Christian because I was raised that way, I am because I agree with their morals and it has made me a much happier person. MM, want to know why you're depressed? Because you feel like you don't have anyone or anything in your life to commit to. I also recall you telling me how you felt strangely happy when some lady prayed with you. It made you feel like there was someone out there to care for you, who's looking out for you. Coincidence? No. So even if God isn't real, and Jesus is nothing but a metaphor, I'll still be Christian, just because it gives you something to go by, something that makes you feel like you've done good. So really, you atheists can live your unguided lives swimming in the darkness for a form of contentedness, but you'll find soon enough that logic and comprehension will get you nowhere, even if you learn everything that there is to learn. To quote some person I don't know: 'I'd rather die and believe in God to see he isn't real than to not believe and die to see he is real' Ftw. People don't believe in God because they are unknowing, closed minded. They can't accept that there is anything above human comprehension.

I wouldn't place it that directely, But I think I agree o-o" but then again, I still respcet all religions, believe in what you want to believe. I too am an...athi--thingy, but still. Like Seika, I believe There is something up there, but I'm not directely connecting it to god.
