You know the saying: Don't change anything. Ever.
I'm going just off the front page here.

In the 'Literature & Storytelling' board description, fanfiction is spelled 'facfiction'.

In the 'Visual Arts' board description, form is missing an 'm'.

The 'Registration' link under the WoS board description is broken.

Under the Novice and Pro contests, the instructions still tell people to send their sprites to me in bold print. I know those aren't going on now, but it should be fixed.

The link to the E4 challenge should be removed.

The links to the Novice and Pro archives are broken (probably because those sections don't exist anymore)

Everything else from the front page is functional.

Oh, and you spelled 'typos' wrong in your original post. Irony is everywhere.

I never know if the plural of 'typo' is 'typos' or 'typoes', so I use them interchangeably.

Thanks, I'll get to those.

I've finished revising forum rules. If you still spot any errors, please post here.

Only WoS was left alone, since it is still lacking its key topics.

I must be blind, making that other topic...

Anyway, I'm doing a scan just to help out.

In PMF inc. | Battle Arm | Battles,
Quote:

Please use the Challenge board to get your battles set up. A Spriter will then open a topic in this board for the battle itself.

Each contestant has 5 days to submit their Sprites and voting will be open for three days after both sprites have been submitted. If any of the contestants fail to submit their Sprite, the other battler will win by default. Also as soon as both sprites have been posted, there will be no modifications.

NOTE: Two-day extensions to the submission deadline may be granted on special ocasions. Infinite time or otherwise extra-long deadlines may be given, but these must be requested togther with the battle.

This board is for the discussion of styles and any other topics related to literature and/or storytrelling. You may also give constructive criticism on the posted material, as long as the author posts a Crit topic.
- You may ask to clarify a point of the story, but the authors may choose to leave it untold;
- Don't use number ratings - give actually good and constructive comments;
- Do not ask for extra chapters or when the next chapter will come;
- Do not ask (even indirectly) to be included in a Fic that uses PMF members as characters.
Breaking the above rules is a Type B offense.

In PMF inc. | Production Wing | Sprite Gallery | Project Galleries,

To start a Sprite Project, simply post a topic for it, specifying what the project is about. Your projects may involve anything related to any style of spriting. You should keep project galleries and discussions to the same topic. It is recomended that you compile your galleries into the first post of the project topic.
The topics in this forum may be bumped without the penalty of a Warn.

In PMF inc. | Production Wing | Feature Galleries | Wow! Gallery,

The ratings in the poll options are derived from the categories in the Wow! standards. Tech, Aesth and Orig are each worth 1 point, and Wow is worth 2 points, adding up to a total of 5 points.
For Tech, Aesth and Orig, you should only award the point if the sprite in question excells in that category, with no half points.
For Wow, you may award 0, 1 or 2 points depending on the level of 'wow' the sprite gives you. Again, no half points.
The number that you vote should be the sum of the points you gave. (For example, if you think the sprite deserves 1 Tech, 1 Aesth, 0 Orig and 1 Wow, you should vote 3.)

For more details, check the Wow! FAQ.

In PMF inc. | Artistic Annex | Roleplaying | Players' Discussions, in the topic 'Universal Level-Up System'

Experience is miss spelled many times, I'll try to point them out, but I might miss 1. I think you wrote it right one time, the time in a header.

______________________________________________________________________

LEVEL-UP EXPLANATION:
Firstly, if you haven't already, start keeping track of each of your Pokemon's battles with a little Battle Log on their Profile.

HOW EXP IS GAINED:
Your Pokemon only gains Experiance if it Wins a battle. Each time you battle and win, Experiance (EXP) is gained like this:
............(Loser's Level) - (Winner's Level) +1 = Exp
...........................*NOTE: If in the equation above Exp < 1, your Pokémon automatically gains 1 exp.
If your Pokemon is fighting a trained Pokemon (either another trainer or NPC), it gains double (x2) the EXP.

Example:
Lv 12 Drabuff VS Lv 14 Charlithe
............Winner: Drabuff!
............- Drabuff gains 3 Exp Points
............Winner: Charlithe!
............- Charlithe gains 1 Exp Point

NOTE
If your Pokémon loses a battle, it will not gain any Exp unless another Pokémon of your team manages to defeat the opponent.

EXPERIENCE NEEDED TO LEVEL UP CHART

Levels 01~10: Requires +03 Exp Points to Level-Up
Levels 11~20: Requires +06 Exp Points to Level-Up
Levels 21~30: Requires +09 Exp Points to Level-Up
Levels 31~40: Requires +12 Exp Points to Level-Up
Levels 41~50: Requires +15 Exp Points to Level-Up
Levels 51~60: Requires +18 Exp Points to Level-Up
Levels 61~70: Requires +21 Exp Points to Level-Up
Levels 71~80: Requires +24 Exp Points to Level-Up
Levels 81~90: Requires +27 Exp Points to Level-Up
Levels 91~99: Requires +30 Exp Points to Level-Up

EXAMPLE OF A POKEMON GAINING EXP:
So your Pokemon's Exp might go...
............Level 1 Drabuff ~ total 0 Exp
............- gains +3 Exp through various battles, so level up to...
............Level 2 Drabuff ~ total 3 Exp
............- gains +3 Exp through various battles, so level up to...
............Level 3 Drabuff ~ total 6 Exp
............- gains +3 Exp through various battles, so level up to...
............Level 4 Drabuff ~ total 9 Exp
.............................. *elapsed time same pattern* ...
............- gains + 3 Exp through various battles, so level up to...
............Level 10 Drabuff ~ total 27 Exp
............- gains + 6 Exp through various battles, so level up to..
............Level 11 Drabuff ~ total 33 Exp
............- gains + 6 Exp through various battles, so level up to...
............Level 12 Drabuff ~ total 39 Exp
...........................etc...

HOW TO WRITE EXP:
Near where you've written your Pokemon's Level, just write EXP like this:
............Drabuff Level 5 (0/3 Exp.)
...........................or
............Drabuff Level 5[0/3]
So this Drabuff still needs 3 Experiance Points to Level-Up. You might also want to add Total Exp=#, but that's optional.

This system will help keep the RPs from falling apart. Keep track of EXP gain in your Profile(s).This system was originally developed by DNAzurill. Slight changes by other members.

In PMF inc. | Production Wing | Spriter Test, topic 'PMFinc. Spriter Test',

Quote:

PMFinc. Spriter Test
Take a shot at becoming a certified Spriter! Only above-average spriters can pass this test!
The Testing System
The testing system is very simple. Start by requesting your test sprite in the Requests topic, making sure to choose one of the avilible test options. Once you have been given your test sprite, make it and submit your test to the same spriter who gave you your test. Make sure to follow all the Submission requirements, as any discrepancies will result in the invalidation and automatic failure of your test.
The testing spriter will then make a poll in the Spriter Test Voting board, hidden to all non-Spriters. There, Spriters will vote on whether they believe you should be accepted as a Spriter, or if you still need further practice. Some comments will usually be given, along with the casting of the vote. Before the closure of the poll, you may use the Updates topic to check ask how your test is doing, although the update you recieve will only include the votes and no comments. Finally, after the poll is closed, your will recieve your final answer via the Results topic, along with some general comments on where you excell and/or where you may improve.
Use the following links for more information.
Requests | Submissions | Updates | Results

Requests
To request a test, simply post in the Requests topic and a Spriter will tell you what to do. However, you must specify what sort of test you would like to take, usually based on your area of specialization. The availible tests are:
In these tests you are allowed to use images or official sprites as bases:
Based Mixes | Adjective Edits | Element Changes | Extreme Recolors | Based Fakemon | Pixel-Overs
In these tests you must do everything from scratch, using at most visual references:
Scratch Mixes | Scratch Fakemon | Custom Poses | Pixel Art | Isometric Objects | Isometric Scenes | Pixel (Non-Iso) Scenes
You may also post a new topic for the discussion of the inclusion of a new kind of sprite for the possible tests.

Submissions
When submitting your test, you must send your sprites to the same Spriter that gave you the test. You must include no more and no less than:
(1) Your test sprite, the one originally given by the testing Spriter;
(2) Your two most recenbt sprites, other than the Test;
(3) Your three best sprites, with no time restriction;
(1) Your worst sprite, from the sprites you have made in the last two months.
Submitting anything different from the specified above will result in the invalidation and automatic failure of your test.
