PLOT Ages ago, a dangerous parasite began to develop in the jungles of the region Narija. Narija was different from any other region, having it's own Pokemon. These tiny parasites were first discovered by jungle explorers, who bottled them up and brought them to a lab for research. Several years of research yielded no conclusions, so the parasites were sent to a lab on the other end of the continent, in the small town of Medea. However, during transit the truck crashed and the parasites were released into the enviroment. Several people were infected by these parasites, and seemed to show no symptoms for several years. However, around 5 years after the car crash, several of the people had to be hospitalized as they began showing symptoms of a strange disease. They broke out in pox and began to mumble about the 'end' arriving, and then died several days later. The parasite began to spread, until almost one eighth of the continent had been affected. The Champion declared a regional emergency, and began to quarantine those with the virus. However, it continued to spread, regardless of boundaries. A group of experienced trainers who had once been infected with the parasite, but survived and now carry the parasite within them, began to get together. With their insight of the parasite's effects, the group seeks to discover the origin of the epidemic, before the creature within them drives them insane. EXTRA INFO Surviving the parasite had given the group of trainers extra insight into their Pokemon's skills and abilities. The new categorizing system that they use (with Type) to group Pokemon by abilities is called Arcana, based on the 21 Arcana of the Tarot, a popular method of divining with gypsies in Narija. -Information on Arcana (taken from P3) can be found here- http://www.freewebs.com/fwag/persona3.htm The last Arcana is The World, which, like The Fool, is balanced. All healing moves may be used on another Pokemon, instead of only yourself. Taunt, Torment and Follow Me now prompt the Pokemon to attack you instead of other allies. Name: Kyle Earnster Age: 15 Gender: Male Appearance: Kyle is 5 feet and 7 inches tall, average height for a fifteen year-old. He is thin and he’s not very muscular, but not very weak either. He weighs an even 140 pounds and has a very athletic build. He wears glasses that he loses often and has hazel eyes beneath them. He has thick brown hair on his head and takes a lot of grooming to keep flat, but if his hair gets too out of control he usually just wears a cap to hide it. Kyle wears loose, brown cargo pants with many pockets to hold all of his items. He also wears hiking boots that can handle almost any terrain. He wears a warm blue hooded sweatshirt over a black T-shirt to keep him warm during cold weather. He often takes it off when it gets too hot. He keeps all of his Pokeballs in a chain necklace under his T-shirt. Personaility: He is very antisocial and prefers being alone. When there are big crowds he usually avoids them and finds another small place where he can be alone. Kyle is very smart, but he never boasts about his intelligence. He can be social sometimes, but when he does talk with people Kyle is very mean and sarcastic. Whenever Kyle is sad or angry he quickly hides it behind a blank expression. He isn't, however, always quiet and innocent. He can be very impatient and short-tempered, and he will never back down from a fight. History: Kyle has lived a very simple and rather boring life. His father, a successful businessman for the Pokenav Company, was always away on business, and his mother, a breeder and community activist, was the only person who was actively involved in his life after his grandparents died. He had a strong bond with his mother, but they had a lot of tension between them when he told her he wanted to leave. He always wanted to go on some big adventure and meet a lot of people, but it was often lonely at a house when you’re home schooled. He also wanted to make a bunch of new friends, but found it difficult with his very sarcastic behavior. He was hoping that a journey would open his eyes to life and make him less of a social retard. Being home schooled his mom taught him everything at a young age, like most home schooled kids Kyle was really smart and often picked on for it, being called a nerd, freak, and any other name you might think of. Personally edits kinda piss me off in RPGs because they're usually not different enough from the actual Pokemon, so no edits. |

Minds actually sorta really different. It's effectively a pokemon/inanimate-object mix, but I refer to it as an edit. Meh, oh well, if I can't use it, I'll just post my profile soon with other pokemon. |

No, wait a minute....H-less cubone isen't really an edit...It's more of a re-element. It's made into dark, the ground is replaced by it....And the evo is going to be sratch, except the skull. So it can still join :3 |

And Swinoast is sorta a Steel/Fire re-element. It's full scratch, and more of a toaster than a swinub. I don't think you've seen it, though. |
