just another ordinary day
9/11: The day that made history. To many, it is a symbol of terrorism and outrage, but to most, it is also a loss of loved ones.

Where were you as our beloved towers came crashing down?

I was in uhh, England. However, I heard about it during school which made the rest of my day hell, because my Aunt and Uncle were on holiday in America, but the family didn't know where...My Uncle surprised my Aunt with a 2nd honey moon kind of thing, all we knew was that they were in America, so it was pretty scary...Turns out they were in Florida, but still.

I honestly don't remember. I hate when teachers ask us this whenever this time comes around, and they want us to write an essay concerning where we were when this happened. For the past 6 years, I've just been making what I did up, each year different than the last.

I mean, come on, I don't even remember what I had to breakfast this morning. XD;

I just remembering my dad mentioning it when I got home, and me going to my room, to play some video games. It sounds rather heartless, so in my essays, I completely changed my demeanor. XD;

I remember waking up and turning on the TV to watch some cartoons and every channel having something about a building on it. I woke up my parents and they were all shocked, I didn't realise what it was about and just wanted my cartoons.

You know the saying: Don't change anything. Ever.
I know I didn't even hear about it until Social Studies that day, and I wasn't that freaked out about it until I heard people freaking out on the radio that afternoon.

I was about 4, eating a peanut butter jelly sandwisch, watching nick when it suddenly turned off. My mom changed the channel and I heard a boom on the channel or something.

I was begging my parents to let me watch tv so they let me an I turned it on and saw it on tv. I called my mom, and dad and they told me what they knew. The entire day at school, we talked about it. Somebody though had his birthday that same day. Nota a very happy birthday. Also everyday at every school I go to on this day we have a 2 minutes of silence thing. I'm wondering if they do that in my HS.

Isn't it great knowing that my sexual actions and the climatic-ness of said actions can caused total destruction and make it look like a coincidence? o:

I was in sixth grade, having a regular Portuguese class. Someone came in and said an airplane had crashed into one of the towers. We were all like wtf, stopped class, and got on the internet to check for news. We saw videos and stuff, but we didn't have a television. So we saw a video of the first plane, and soon enough there was a video of the second. Neither was live, though.

My mom got the news of the first, went see the news on TV with the rest of the Science Department. They all watched the second crash live.

Meh. I was only half-scared. My uncle lives in New York. He doesn't live close to the place, but you never know. It didn't affect me too much, though, in the end. I probably got irritated from seeing the same thing over and over again, like when the last Pope died. Meh.

Well, I had just started second grade. We were at RIF [Reading Is Fun x.X], picking out a book. I remember it was something about bugs...anyway,
I was reading it on the bus ride home, and the older kids were acting all funny [i.e., not throwing gum at the bus driver]. When I got home my Nona and Noni were there, staring at the TV along with my parents. I was like, "Hey, watcha doin---", and they kinda just shushed me out into the next room where my little brother was playing Thomas the Tank. I don't know, I guess they thought it would scar me, they wouldn't let me watch TV all night. I think we got school off the next day, I thought that was pretty cool at the time. After a few days my dad told me what happened. I really didn't comprehend it until I was a little older.
