What is a Spriter, and what are the advantages of being one?<br> </strong>   A Spriter is a member that has successfully passed the Spriter Test. This title is merely for recognition as a good spriter. There are currently no advantages to being a Spriter other than the recognition; however this may change in the future. Who are they? <br> </strong>   Some of the older members go by names that are related to older usernames or to no usernames at all. Where relevant, both names will be mentioned; otherwise, you may check the opening post of the <a href="http://z6.invisionfree.com/PMF_inc/index.php?showtopic=8806" target="_self">Name Change</a> topic for the username change archives or ask an older member. <br>    Also, banned members do not show up on the member lists. </p>[/dohtml]

Who can I talk to if I need help or need to ask questions? <br> </strong>   Our entire <a href="http://z6.invisionfree.com/PMF_inc/index.php?act=Stats&CODE=leaders" target="_self">moderation team</a>, including the Administrators, is available most of the time. You should check the <a href="http://z6.invisionfree.com/PMF_inc/index.php?act=Online&CODE=listall&sort_key=click" target="_self">Online Users</a> list for any green or blue usernames, as those are staff members.</p>[/dohtml]

What's the problem?<br> </strong>   The Spamming Area is only accessible to members whose postcount equals or exceeds 750 posts. Unfortunately, this is not an automated process and so members with the minimum postcount must notify an Admin and await the update of their permissions. </p>[/dohtml]

Where do I put my sprites? <br> </strong>   This depends on what you want to do with your sprites. If you want to showcase your individual sprites, post a topic in Individual Galleries. To showcase sprites made for a project, or to start a project of your own, use Project Galleries. Why are Galleries and Reviews separate?<br> </strong>   At PMF we prefer to separate where you show your sprites and where you get your criticism, for several reasons, listed below. Most members have one Gallery topic and various Review topics for their sprites, but neither is mandatory<br>    The Individual Gallery topics are for showcasing purposes only; members are only allowed to post in his or her own Gallery topic. This is useful for members who wish to show sprites without getting criticism, or for browsing sprites without the clutter of other posts.<br>    The Review topic(s) are related only to a sprite or a group of sprites in order to remain small and, again, uncluttered. You can get all sorts of criticism in these topics, from any member. </p>[/dohtml]

Where can I get sprite ideas?<br>    </strong>If you would like a thought-out suggestion, we have the <a href="http://z6.invisionfree.com/PMF_inc/index.php?showtopic=8683" target="_self">Spriter Help/Inspiration Thread</a>, which allows members to get thought-out ideas with or without restrictions or parameters.<br>    If you would like a random idea, or would prefer to have the idea yourself, we suggest Dragonfree's <a href="http://www.vilhjalmur.com/butterfree/testing.htm" target="_blank">Pokémon Sprite Generator</a>, which gives out random sprites and can be used to think up ideas. </p>[/dohtml]

Rules are usually placed at the top of each page, between the navigation links and the board itself. Other rules may be found in pinned topics, although those should be linked to from the rules at the top of each page.</p>[/dohtml]
