KRITS stands for Kamiko's Really Ineffiecent Trials Section. It's a weekishly section, so around every Friday I give you an uninformed review of a big thing this week. These contain my opinion only. The things reviewed on KRITS: Krits #1: High School Musical 2: Page 1 ----<-@-K.R.I.T.Z. #1: HSM2-@->---- In wireless computers one day, I overheard some girls giggling about something on what was probably Disney Channel. I took a peek and saw a days:hours:minutes:seconds countdown chart. On top of that, it sported a large, Broadway-ish sign saying 'HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL'. Heh. Some stupid Disney chick-flick, I thought. Disney Channel is hellbound. I learned just about now that I was right and wrong. The right thing is that Disney's gone to hell. And steadily falling, too. (Hannah Montana is substantial evidence of that.) The thing I didn't guess is that the 'stupid Disney chick-flick' would become a national hit. There's a very fine line between liking a film and obsessing over a film. It appears that HSM created a whole new zone. I don't know how far it is, but it's definitely past obsession. Now, the recipe for success for HSM is pretty much unknown to me. The best theory I can get is subliminal messaging. It turnede Corbin Bleu from an unknown Wendy's sandwich (try our new Cordon Bleu at your local Wendy'stm!) to a household name overnight. And that process happened again with Sharpay and Grabeel. Sharpay probably was greatly into her role-- a snot-nosed Beverly Hills girl matches the persona of Efron and the HSM2 cast. They've all wasted their lives on some Disney show. It has a characteristic similar to Grease. Two people fall in love, together they sing songs that linger in your mind for approximately the majority of your lifetime. (It wears off at your Great-Granny Ethel's when she turns on the Roaring Twenties ballroom dancing tape.) Snirpy's said that Disney's gone to hell via Drake and Josh. It actually hasn't (though kicking Mickey out did some damage) done that, as D&J was on Nick before they got on Satan's hot rod. The real blow was the HSM empire. The producers thought; "Hey! Let's make all the shows like HSM to boost our popularity!" and then: "*telephone ringing in hell* HELL-o Disney! Sure I'll lend you my car!" Hannah Vaintana's era started with the simple chorus of "All things together!" I can just picture the HSM soundtrack blaring in the future: "Grandma? I can't stand this stupid soundtrack anymore." "SHUT UP! I'M LISTENING TO A SONG AT FULL VOLUME! Now, all things together~" I've heard from my cousin that the franchise will live up to its codename: Broadway's going to make a HSM play there. All I have to think is: First Disney, now Broadway. Geez, Satan, you should stab the industry with a hoe before they can infiltrate Wall Street. |

---<-@K.R.I.T.S. #2: The Simpsons Movie@->--- The year is 1987. The Tracy Ullman show is on. A yellow-faced, lazy man is eating a donut. Sound familiar? I'll give you a hint. A spiky-haired kid walks in and steals the donut. The man stands up and yells, "Why you little~" and chokes the kid. You aren't watching an MTV sitcom. No, you're watching The Simpsons. This show's been long running for two decades. The four hundredth episode (a 24 spinoff at a bake sale) has come and gone. But with 'You Kent Say What You Want', the great comedic family has come to an end. A man named Matt Groening is reading a newspaper when he sees a very interesting article. It may be a good base for the movie he's working on. He dials the Simpsons studio and says, "Two words: Pig poop." And that's the basis of the Simpsons movie. Homer dares Bart to skateboard to the Krusty Burger naked (And we pray to God for this great penis.) and talks to him in a restaurant about it. Then he sees the pig of his dreams and obsesses over Spiderpig. Bart bonds with Flanders. Homer fills up a silo with pig poop (he helped a bit, though) and dumps it in the local lake, despite Marge's instructions. This starts an ecological disaster, and the EPA must help. The head of Eepa gets approval from President Schwartzinegger to place Springfield in a bubble. And if things can't get any worse, Homer's hog dung is the source of it. Through a sinkhole, they escape to Alaska. Being fugitives, they have to be careful, but they get there pretty quick. Selfishness prevents Homer from going home to save Springfield from dynamite groups. But he begins to doubt his laxness when the rest of the family leaves without him. With the usual, sudden humor of the TV show, tSM is hilarious to huge extremes. Forget Spidey Four. The new tune in the bug business is "Spiderpig, spiderpig, does whatever a spiderpig does~" You can comment... |

Wow, these are really well written. Yay, good job. And by the way, I said Drake & Josh contributed, not caused the whole problem single-handedly. ^.^;; |
