Posts: 1,597 Group: Member + Member #1,045 Joined: April 30, 2007	The Pixels of Glory is a sprite war. *Storyline:* Fusions of Pokemon have been scattered across the first world, but some are above the rest. These sprites were sought for their extreme power, and were constantly on the run for their lives. These mixes seeked a burial for themselves so they could rest in peace. All of them met Missingno, who solved their problems by jumbling their pixels. These pixels were golden-tinted in color, and could be combined to recreate the Great Mixes. However, several tribes were founded to find the Pixels of Glory. They tried to find them to no avail, but met someone else of interest. The Unseen Question Mark was his name. Being a descendant of Missingno, he could locate the pixels. In exchange, he needed sprites for the sacrifice. *Tribes:* The first tribe is the Palette Tribe. The tribe has gifted skills with paintbrushes. As such, they have to recolor the sprites they make to a said palette. The next tribe is the Developing Tribe. The tribe can recreate old things, then use them as needed. They always use revamped bases. The next tribe is the Elden Tribe. They do not like the current way of life and prefer the ways of their ancestors. As such, they must devamp the sprites they make to the said generation. The next tribe is the Altering Tribe. They can change the sprites they create to certain themes. As such, all sprites in this tribe have scratch edits (IE Naruto Makuhita.) The last tribe is the Elements Tribe. They can change a Pokemon's type through training. As such, all their sprites are retyped. I've forgotten some, so please suggest other tribes. Registration: Please simply state your name and wanted tribe. If you would like to be a judge, please be able to add proper crit. 3 judges in all. (I'm not a judge, I'm a host.) Palette members: Cardz5000 Developing members: IT Elden members: Kam Altering members: Snirpy, EE Element members: Dragonfire Judges: None, atm Method of Judging The main sprite you must do is a splice of two Pokemon. However, your tribe's special power is added to the mix as a requirement. For example, I get Purugly and Skuntank, and Weezing is the third. Palette would have to splice them AND recolor it to a nuclear plant. (You can reshade.) Developing would instead get Persian and Stuntank. The base has to be a revamped Persian. Elden would devamp the sprite to second gen. Altering would make the sprite have two heads. Element makes the sprite a poison type. However, judges will use the same judging system as WoS. Going back to Stuntank and Purugly, they would rate Stuntank and Purugly normally, then rate the retype/recolor/whatever. The two scores are added, divided by two, and given to Kamiko. He does the dirty job of averaging the scores for all tribe members and making the final score. The winner and runner-up get some of the Golden Pixels of their Pokemon. When one group gets all the Golden Pixels and puts them together, the war ends and said group wins. Wow, that was a lot of typing.

Although please, no having to alter sprites to look like video game/TV/book/other fandoms, because most likely I know nothing of whatever character that'll be, which is unfair.

(IE Mario, Ash Ketchup, Naruto) I may still do the dirty work, but somebody needs to join the Elden tribe. And you won't get to see the buried sprites. Because they're INVISIBLE! OOH! AAH! So, I need a judge, and an Elden member.

Don't worry, I won't change the posts or anything. Splice Farfetch'd with Arbok. Palette Tribe, recolor your mix to resemble a compass. Developing Tribe, use the Red/Blue Farfetch'd as a base. Elden Tribe, devamp it to GSC standards. Altering Tribe, edit it into a superhero. The other tribe... I dunno.
