just another ordinary day
|
Ah, yes. The day that every middle schooler and teenager hates. Going back to school. It's nice and relaxing in the summer, but then you're grabbed by your mother to do 5-hours-before-school-starts shopping. In short, when does your school start, and how do you feel about it? For me, school starts on the 22nd. As in, TOMORROW. DDDDDDDD: |

Seize the day or die regretting the time you lost.

I'm going to a new school too. Mine started on August 6. D: But I luff it. The people are cool. :D... I found a pic of it. Courtyard Looks like an old pic because now there's lots of pretty plants and things growing there in those bland brown-ish spots. |

High school is easy, especially during freshmen year, because when you're a freshmen, your workload isn't as heavy as your upperclassmen's assignments. They teachers usually understand that you're fairly new to the school, and thus, they want you to get somewhat adjusted. Once your Senior year hits, it may seem easy as well, it's just some states require some kind of Senior Project you must complete in order to graduate. Hardest is probably junior year, as you're just one year away from graduating, and thus, you tend to get lazy around mid-semester. XD; I did. Also, in Washington, during your sophomore year, you would have to take the WASL, which is a state-wide test. So, once you hit your junior year, depending or not on rather you passed the WASL, you tend not to worry about school work as much. (I was the Class of 2007, therefore, passing the WASL wasn't a graduation requirement. Class of 2008 and beyond, has too however.) Once you're a sophomore, your social life might seem a bit easier, as the upperclassmen won't look down on you as much as they did on your freshmen year. You somewhat get respect after you're finished with your freshmen year. Once high school is done with, then you just look back, and feel that "Hey, that wasn't really all hard. The hype seriously was all that it was, hype." *Shrugs* That's how I felt anyways. |

Don't go in the Shed!

Senior Year started on the second of this month, I believe. It was a thursday. It's good to see my friends regularly again, but i'm not too happy about the year. I'm only taking one class I like (Art), three that I don't like (two History classes and Sociology), and the rest is just meh. So you see i'm not very excited. |

I'm going into the 7th grade on the 28th. I'm not really that excited, but the pressure is huge considering I'm in all advanced classes and I'm also in advanced 8th grade math. *sigh* I have a feeling it's going to be a long year. But at least I'll be able to see my friends! |

WOOHOO I'M GONNA BE A SENIOR! ... ... ... Okay, I'm going into eighth grade, but that is technically STILL a senior. In junior high. Mine starts the 29th, and holy freak show, some of yours have already started. Neewais, seventh was an absolute nightmare, so I'm hoping thes year'll be better. I'm in all honors (thank you, DAD!), but I'm used to a pretty big workload. EE: Junior high's really not that bad, except all the boys have a combined intelligence of, like, 4, and the girls think their all gwowed up!...please don't get a big head because like this, the older kids will resent it. GEWD LUX, VREEBUDI! |

I See Dead Laptops...
|
Lol. What you said, Snirpy, reminds me of 6th grade last year. The boys were making bad jokes and being mad pyromaniacs, and about half the other girls were boring me half to death going on and on all day about their boyfriends. Luckily, I had a few friends to talk to, none of which are in any of my classes (Besides Band and Lunch) this year. Oh fwee. ...School starts tommorow. I'm still worried... |

I See Dead Laptops...

I swear, all that the boys on my bus would talk about last year is what they burned, from legos, to aerosol cans, to just plain wood. I hope they've changed by now. I hope. And I don't know anything about my teachers at all so far. |

Rofl. I can't wait for school to start. <3 I finally don't have to wear my school uniform, and I'm only taking 4 classes I like. I get my GCSE results this thursday, and that should pretty much decide what I'm taking for my A levels. |
