Now that winter is just about over, it is time to start thinking about changing over from snow blowing to grass cutting. My 1862 has been plagued with water in the fluid and one change by me was not enough to get out all of the contaminated fluid. It seems to me that on tractors like the 1862 with power lift and steering, a couple of cups of watery fluid is left in the hydraulic lines, valves and cylinders. Is anyone aware of a good "how to" on a complete flushing technique for cubs with lots of hydraulics? Thanks in advance. Mike Interestingly, my Cub knows that winter is just about over as it no longer whines about it. |
