That tractor is the most awsesome tractor I have ever seen. Since a few years back seeing that tractor I have dreamed of making my own. The 126 sits in sis's barn waiting to get its makeover as a 706 narrow front.

Thanks for showing that again never ever get tired of seeing it.

Such a great looking tractor! Is it just me, the angle of the photos, or is it much larger than the 149 Donor rig?

Makes me wish I had a lot more $ and a lot more time on my hands...right now! :D Would love to have one of those in my barn!

GREAT LOOKING RIG! :Drool

Good eye Scott.
The frame was stretched 12 inches. Main reason is so the PTO off the front of the motor can be used. The rear tiller drive runs the mower. Rear mower is off a Simplicity. It took Dad 15 to 18 months to build it.

My Son's slightly modified 86

This what Steve started out with.

Notice any difference under the hood.

You can see the top of the motor in a stock 86. You can't see the top of the motor on Steve's 86.

Motor is a modified K321. The clutch and driveshaft were both modified.

Here's a few pictures of my the engine of my CH18-powered 582. I made the billet aluminum clutch driver adapter. It has a pulley groove cut in it, as I'll be adding a hydraulic pump and hydraulic lift sometime in the near future...

Here's a link to a little video I took just for the sound... http://mgonitzke.freetzi.com/582_running.asf

...No, it doesn't have a muffler...Yes, it's loud... :)

Matt. Love that adapter! I wish I had one for myy 1200. I plan on putting hydraulics on it, But I need some kind of a way to drive them pump. That adapter would be perfect. probably wouldn't fit right, and man would it be $$$!

The aluminum was only about $30, but I had to stand in front of a lathe for 9 hours to make it though...

That's pretty much why I made it though. What I needed didn't exist, so I just made it myself.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
