Oh I can't wait to do some work with my CC other than just mowing! Thanks for the pictures and Video Cub61! If that isn't motivation for Spring to hurry up and get here I don't know what is! Once the weather breaks up here I plan a lot of seat time this spring. :ButtRock

My trip to HD and Harbor Freight were fruitless. I was trying to avoid paying the shipping charges by having the store order the items I wanted and I would do an in-store pickup. Yeah, so much for old fashioned Customer Service! After waiting quite a while to talk to him the Manager in HD basically just said NO, go order your items online. What's funny, or not so much, is that this HD has been pretty much empty for months. When have you been to HD and had people in orange vests tripping over themselves to ask you if they can be of assistance? I predict this HD will be out of business soon. Well, they lost my business anyway....I'll be heading to Lowe's or Menard's for my home improvement needs from now on.

What REALLY killed me was my trip to Harbor Freight. They did not stock the trailer that I wanted, no shock there, so I asked the lady to special order it for me, which she said she could do. I would, of course, have to pay for the shipping. :Bash SO, she goes to the computer and brings up the warehouse screen. I notice that her price there reads $50.00 cheaper so I get a little excited because I think I am going to get a deal in the long run anyway. SO, she says to me, "there are only 4 in stock at the warehouse so I CANNOT special order you one". :Shocked So standing there in disbelief and after I ask her to repeat what she just said she proceeds to tell me that "We can only do special orders if there are 10 in stock."

SO, the economy is total CRAP, (Michigan has been in recession for years now, welcome to the party rest of America.) and I can't manage spend money even while trying!!!! :OMG :Mad :BS

Whew...glad I got that out of my system... LOL!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
