Hi All... Everybody knows that you can get paint from Cub Cadet dealers. Most folks also know that correct paint is available through Case/IH dealers. What almost no one remembers is that there is a former division of IH, very much still alive, and also has the correct paints. They even use the IH paint codes with a 0 in front of the as in 0901 for the Original white or 0483 for Federal Yellow!! It's called the International Truck & Engine Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of Navistar Holdings. Just FYI Myron B |

some may want to check out tractor supply as thats where i got my cadet paint.they had it in spray cans and 1 qt cans |

I posted one that went somewhere... I'll try again... Charles G: IH used three different whites for the Cub Cadets. I like TSC also. but they do NOT have three versions of IH/Cub Cadet white paint. You can't even be sure if the one they have is exactly one of the IH versions. The one they carry probably is ok with most folks for "fixer-uppers", but certainly NOT for historic or restoration accuracy....The same is generally true for the TSC yellow.... Myron B |
