Sunday, we started our garden.

I decided to lengthen the garden some...so we set the plow down about 6'-8' to the South...and got busy :Thumbsup I opened up the first couple of furrows, and then had Brandon take over so I could take some pictures.

Brandon is just shy of half way done

Later in the day, we used the Ohio Steel disk on the 1712, and busted up the 'big stuff', then did some tilling. We got our Mountain Spring tomato plants in, some spinach, peas, green bean seeds, and our Walla-Walla onions went in too.

Looks great Bill! You have a nice variety in your garden. I imagine, Brandon had a good time, with the 1712 and plow! :Cheers

Allen: He didn't complain...so I guess he had fun :Huh2 You know how teenagers are... :D

macdaddy: Oh yeah, it's been tilled :Thumbsup

DYT: I'll try to get some more pics....I've been really busy since Sunday.
I picked up a 102 Monday night that I'm parting out, and a guy with the Kiser Lake Sportsman Club (where Bandon and I went for 'Turkey Shoots' this past winter) brought the clubs 1650 over for me to doctor on, plus Brandon had a 4-H Trap Shooting club meeting, then we had ball practices on 2 different nights......

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
