Merk,

Thats about normal for us this time of year. We were 10" above normal for the year about the middle of last month. It has rained here every day now for over a week. Rained off and on all day the 4th, started about 5:30AM yesterday and rained till about 3:PM, was raining when I went to bed and still raining now. I laid a bunch of good San Augustine sod last May and now all thats growing there is mushrooms. Maybe I should look into rice farming.

I haven't had to mow in the last 6-8 weeks. I used to mowing every 4 days. If we don't get some decent rain in the next week or 2 the farmers can forget harvesting any crops.

Here's a pic, of my wife's garden today. We've already picked several tomatoes the last couple weeks. You can see several clusters, almost ready to pick later this week.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
