Man, those are huge.

How do you keep up with the weeds??

I use the Brinly cultivator for weed control between the rows and my wife keeps the weeds pulled around the plants.
This years sweetcorn crop could be challenging though, I will have to see how well the cultivator will work with the narrow rows.

Gardens are looking Guys :Thumbsup :Thumbsup

I finally put some sweet corn, onions, radishes and green beans out Monday. Weatherman says there is a slight chance of frost tomarrow. My tomatoes and pepers will go out next week.

I finished up planting our garden this afternoon, squash and tomatoes. My daughter really enjoys the Mr. Stripey variety of tomato but I had a bit of trouble locating some plants but I lucked out today and found some and also a variety that I'm unfamiliar with called "Old German" it looks like a yellow/pink mix sort of like the Stripey I got one plant to experiment with just for fun. I'd be interested to know if anyone out there has raised this variety, pros/cons?
Thanks,
Greg

Looking good Mac! I had the ole 125 out and about today doing some cultivator duty. The garden is doing good as long as I keep watering it (boy do we need rain!). You know gardening sure is fun, but it's alot more fun with a Cub Cadet! :Thumbsup The Jalapenos are coming on strong too.

Lookin good KY

Is that a fence for your tomatos? I did that last year and my wife said she didn't like 'em tied to a fence. But I sure did.

Mac,
It's called a hog panel, basically a 16ft section of really stiff woven wire only heavier gauge and tough. So far I like it and I think I'm gonna get another one to use for my cukes. I have to go up and put another tie on the tomatoes so I'll try to get some better pics of the panel.

Mac here's the pics I promised. Quality is poor, sorry bout that but you get the idea. I got a discount on the panel because it is not very straight but the maters haven't complained so far. LOL I went up and retied the tomatoes and found some surprises, so I got to snooping around to see what else was growing. Overlook the Sevin dust please.
Also if someone could help me out, in the last picture. When I bought these peppers they were labeled as Jalapeno, but they sure are looking like banana peppers to me! any comments?

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
