Joinable Groups

A joinable group is a group which any individual member may join, but are separate from member groups.

Types of Joinable Groups

There are three types of joinable groups:

  1. Open to all Members - This means that any user can join the group without restriction.
  2. Leader Approval Required - This means that users will have to be approved by one of the group's leaders before becoming a member.
  3. Invitation Required - This means that no user will be able to join without first being invited by an existing user.

Joining a Group

To join a joinable group, follow these steps:

  1. At the top of the forum, click the Preferences button.
  2. In the Profile Options menu, select Joinable Groups.
  3. If there are any groups available to join, they will be displayed in the Joinable Groups table.
  4. If you see a group that you would like to be a member of, select Join Group or Request Approval, depending on whether leader approval is required. If the group you are trying to join is by invitation only, try contacting one of the group's leaders, which can be found by clicking View Members & Leaders in the group's column.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
