The rough idle was due to a vacuum hose to the decel valve that came loose. Stopped by my work on the way home to pick up my vehicle and took another look at the bug, found the loose hose, reconnected it and ran flawless on the way home. I like cheap fixes!! - Mike |

Yeah, all those older FI systems are very sensitive to vacuum leaks. Glad you found it! 8) |
