so I have been in tulsa all summer guys in case anyone was wondering :)

but back to the issue at hand.

I recently traded all my turbo stuff (its for the best) and am converting to EFI
using megasquirt on a v3 board. with relay box, and msns extra code.

sooo everything is setup and I am running it in fuel only mode until I can get a crank trigger setup. so I am using a bosch 009.

the problem is that I have power and everything is perfect. until I try to crank. then I can't get power to stay on for the megasquirt box. Thus it won't start..

I have no idea about electrical stuff and am reaching a out of idea/knowledge point.
I even wired a separate battery to the ms box and it still power cycled.

I suspect a loose ground? or maybe a problem with the coil. since a voltage drop is being created when I turn the start to crank, and as soon as its not cranking I have power again.
I also have tried wiring it to the fuel pump, + side of coil, gauge power with the same results.

I also tested this with a gauge light bulb and it stayed on but flickered down when I cranked.

any ideas/ help appreciated. I will provide beer if you wish to come assist.
I also am in the process of trailering it back from tulsa... since it wouldn't start by the time I had to be back in norman.

thanks guys, and yes this means I will miss the meeting tuesday most likely :(
