Can anyone tell me what the gap setting would be for the rocker arms on a 1800? If i remember right, for a 1600 it was .006. I don't think that would apply for an 1800 though. I don't have a lot of knowledge about this engine. The guy i bought it from couldn't tell me squat about it other than he just gave some guy money to put it together. lol Any help would be greatly appreciated. I've had this project for a few years now and my wife is getting tired of looking at take up room in the garage =)

Well, i could be wrong. I don't know a great deal about all the different types. I've been around bugs most of my life and have worked on them often. But nothing to technical. Long story of how i came about the engine. To make it short, it just kind of fell into my lap without any information other than the guy that gave it to me said it was an 1800.

Here is a pic of it. It's in a 74 super as that was the only bug i had at the time that needed an engine.

ccould be anything if someone gave it to you and said its an 1800, that is pretty standard practice around here.

sure is a T1. set them the same as stock and youll be safe.
