Rehab Wing
This state of the art wing of the hospital has been set up for those wanting drug or alcohol rehab. Friendly healers are here to help you through the tough times. People going through rehab stay in this wing and are carefully monitored. Visitors are allowed but are checked for sneaking in drugs or alcohol to the recovering addicts.

Bruce leads Greg into the Rehab centre, nodding towards the bedroom and kitchenette in a form of short introduction to the place. He was a man of few words, and wasn't about to waste any on the man. Knowing that he would be free of contraband for the moment, he makes sure that the Rehab door is locked before moving to the door and standing by it, watching over his charge.

Greg sighed as he looked around the wing. He'd approved the development of the wing, he just hadn't thought he would be one to use it. He sighed and limped over to the kitchen. He'd been living off bread and water for two weeks and was hungry for real food. Though he had denied it to himself, he knew that he was thirsty for a drink. He wasn't about to get any here though, even if he asked really really nicely. With a sigh he began preparing himself a sandwich, trying to avoid the fact that his hands twitched every so often. "You don't really talk much." He mused before a burning thought came to him. Neva! She had to know he was out. "Can I send an owl to my wife? Tell her I'm here?" He asked, wanting to see her sooner rather than later.

Bruno watches Greg avidly as he prepares a sandwhich, just making sure that he didn't do anything against the rules. Frowning as he is asked a question, he nods simply, waiting for the man to do the honours and write the thing. He wasn't about to do any more work than required of him.

Greg abandoned the sandwich for now, he didn't really care about the thing he had just wanted something to do. He'd spent enough time lying down on beds bored to death, brewing in his own misery and he had a feeling he'd be doing more of it once the rehab kicked in and he began to detox. He limped over to a table where a paper and pen lay and wrote Neva a letter, scowling slightly as his hand twitched every so often making the odd messy line to add to his shaky writing.

Quote:

Neva,
They've let me out of Azkaban in exchange that I go into the rehab program at Mungos. I wasn't sure but I agreed. I'll try to change, for you.
Please come as soon as you can and if you're able, bring me a cane. I've not had one since they locked me away.
If you don't want to see me then it's okay, but I just want you to know I'm going to try.

Love Greg. xxx

He sealed the letter in an envelope with Neva's name on it and handed it to the silent guy, choosing to be as silent as he was. He retrieved his sandwich before sitting down in the main seating area, waiting for Neva to arrive. Hoping that she would.[/color]

Bruno watches the man as he writes, a small sneer creeping onto his face as he watches the man. As he finishes writing the letter he takes it from him without another word and turns to the door, unlocking it with his wand before before stepping out. He locks the door behind him, not wishing the man to get away while he was gone.

Greg sighed as the guy left and he was locked in again. He was getting tired of being locked away in places, what did they think? That he was going to run away and they wouldn't catch him? he could barely walk let alone run all the way out of the hospital. He wasn't going anywhere. He leant back in the chair, the simple cushioned seat feeling like luxury after Azkaban. The enormity of what he was doing wasn't sinking in yet. He was just glad for a comfy chair and decent food.

After sending off the letter with a St. Mungo's Owl, Bruno made a detour to the Employee Lounge, not at all bothered about anybody that should be waiting for his charge.

As Bruno arrives back at the Rehab ward some time later, He finds an Ebony haired woman standing looking rather lost as she waits for somebody to let her in. He nods at her curtly before unlocking the door and striding in, the woman following after him. He locks the door behind her before scanning her with his wand just to make sure that she didn't carry any alcohol or any other contraband.

Neva was a little offended by the man scanning her, even if the large handbag she had did make her rather a suspect. She says nothing however as she turns away from the sielnt man, giving Greg a weak but warm smile.

Greg had been waiting for Neva for a while, sat doing pretty much nothing. He hadn't bothered looking around in detail or even checking if any of the other bedrooms held patients like him. He didn't really care, all he wanted was to see Neva. His heart leapt as he saw her come in. Depite his leg he got to his feet and approached her. He stood before her for a moment then wrapped his arms around her, forgetting the fact that he hadn't washed in over 2 weeks and looked like a right mess even before he'd started his rehab. "I'm so glad to see you. I've missed you so much." He told her quietly as he basked in the joy of having her in his arms again.

Neva was a little taken aback as Greg pulled her into his arms, not just by the gesture alone, but by the smell. "Greg. Ya stink" she announces simply, although the smile she held on her lips and in her eyes held no malice at all. She allows herself to stay in the warm envelope of his arms for a few more moments before pulling away and setting her bag onto the table as she sits down. Giving Bruno the finger as he makes to walk forward to investigate, she begins to unload things from her bag, suck as the junk food she knew he wouldn't get here, various pictures, a drawing Kyra had made of him on holiday and a television. It wasn't as big as he was used to but it would get him by for now.

Greg was slightly startled by her words but he chuckled softly as they broke appart. "I forgot." He said sheepishly before looking at the things she was taking from her bag. He couldn't help but smile at it all, having missed all these things so dearly in Azkaban. Not just the food and the televison, but his family too. He sat down opposite and began to inspect the things she brought. "Thanks for all this Neva." He told her, knowing full well that she could have left him without any of these luxuries.

Neva smiles as Greg peruses what she had brought, hoping she hadn't forgotten anything. Of course she knew she had. She couldn't bring Kyra up here to see him, not where drug addicts and other dangerous people were likely to be. It wasn't sfae of right for her to do so. "Kyra misses you" she smiles, not paying too much heed to the thank you. It really wasn't a problem.

Greg was slightly upset that Kyra wasn't here but he knew why Neva didn't want to bring her. A rehab facility was hardly a safe place for a little girl. He'd pursuade Neva to bring Kyra sometime though, when he was getting better maybe. "I miss her too." He replied. His eyes began to dart around the room uncertainly as he didn't know what to say now, feeling rather awkward.

Neva nods a little at the man's words, although she did feel guilty upon seeing Greg's dissappointment at not seeng Kyra. But he had to know that it was for the best. She didn't want her learning any bad habits. "Soo...." she sighs, trying to search for something to say. It was odd really. Usually they could spend hours lain in bed in the middle of the night talking about nothing, yet in this environment all conversation seemed to be sucked from the room. "How long do you think you'll be here?" she asks, hoping it wouldn't be too long.

Greg had been wondering the same thing himself really. He just wanted to get back to a normal life. His life had span out of control the moment he kissed Eliza, until then it was manageable but after that it was just one disruption after another until it came to Azkaban and now this. "As long as it takes for me to get better I suppose. Trust me, I've already thought through telling a healer that he either declares me fit to go back into the world or I fire him. But the problem is I can't fire anybody until I get my job back and I don't get my job back until I'm fit to go back. I can't cheat my way out of this." He sighed. "Good thing really. I want to stop. I do."

Neva's face falls a little as he speaks of cheating his way out of it by blackmailing staff. She didn't want him to have the easy way out as an option. It would only make him liable to take it and she would more than likely never get her husband back. But she breathes a small sigh of relief as he discounts it himself, hoping that he was right about wanting to change. "Of course you. Your hospital and daughter need you" she states, deliberately leaving herself out of the statement. She didn't think herself important enough for somebody to change their ways, no matter how much she wished it.

Greg nodded slowly. "I need them too... and you... I can't live without you. I think we've proved that." He sighed, knowing that without Neva he ended up in Azkaban. He was starting to feel pleased that he'd taken the deal, the effect of not having dementors around him 24/7 was making him feel much better than he had in weeks though he knew that wouldn't last long. Soon he'd be miserable, throwing up, detoxing.

Neva allows a small nod, although she says nothing about the not being able to live without her comment. She knew it was dramatising a false truth. The man would live, maybe not comfortably but he would live. Maybe if he hadn't have met her he would have a new love and wouldn't even be here. She couldn't help but blame herself, even if she berated herself for it afterwards.

Greg took a glance towards 'Mr Silent yet still annoying' and then back to Neva. He couldn't help but notice the silence that had fallen upon them. "I'm not looking forward to this." He sighed. "It's better than Azkaban though. I was scared that I was going to go crazy before I got out..." He was sure that his wrist was able to hear him as it began to twitch suspiciously. He tried to hide it from Neva though.

Neva had shared Greg's fear of him losing himself to the Azkaban system, and so had been relieved when she recieved the letter telling her that he was at Mungo's. "I was too. I think part of me thought I'd never see you again" she replies in a saddened voice, her eyes averting to her hands for a moment before she catches something out of the corner of her eye. It was a twitch in Greg's wrist, unnerving her ever so slightly. Gently she reaches forward and takes his hand in her own, massaging it with both her hands in a loving manner, hoping that the show of affection would help him mentally as well as physically.

Greg wasn't sure if Neva had seen the twitch or not as she took hold of his hand. He suspected that she had but she hadn't said anything along the lines of 'oh my god you're crazy Greg.' which he appreciated a lot. "All we've done is talk about me. How've you been?" He asked, guessing that she hadn't been that good but hoping that she had at least been keeping herself in mildly okay spirits.

Neva was a little taken aback that Greg would ask how she had been. What could she say? That she hadn't eaten and barely slept since he had been locked up? That she hadn't even been able to bring herself to go home until Greg had asked for her company. Or the letters that she had found on the mat when she went in for the first time. "Erm..." she responds absently, fingering the letters in her pocket as she slips her hands away from Greg's.

Greg was dissapointed at her lack of response. "Not good then." he mumbled, feeling horribly guilty that it was all his fault for making her so upset. It was his own doing that got him locked up and caused Neva to be so miserable.

Neva frowns, deciding that she may as well just spill the beans. Wordlessly she pulls the letters from her pocket and hands them to Greg to read. The letters told of Julian's intentions to fight her for full custody of Kyra, the fake declaration of Custody and his threats to kidnap the little girl if she didn't hand her over.

Greg took the letters from Neva curiously. His eyes widened at the first letter but by the time he'd finished reading the last they were no longer wide, but angry. He had been scared that Neva would be swept away by Julian when he was in Azkaban, but not Kyra. "I swear I'll kill him." He hissed, throwing the letters angrily on the chair beside him. "If he comes within even a mile of Kyra I'll knock his head off. Who the hell does he think he is swanning in like that after not giving a shit about her for all this time."
