A local museum harbouring all manner of ancient delights and mystecisms. But beware any curses that may have been cast on the items which dwell here!

Having walked at a slow pace to allow Greg to feel as though he wasn't holding her back, Greg and Neva reach the museum. Stepping over to the toll booth at the entrance of the rather majestic and beautful building. There were ornate carvings in the sandstone walls, each one looking more demented yet curious than the last. As Greg stands beside her, looking about him in a rather interested manner, she pays the toll for their tickets, Kyra getting in free seen as she was so young, and she takes the armbands that were needed to prove that they had payed. She places one on Kyra's arm before taking Greg's hand and placing his arm band on, leaving her own until last.

Greg's eyes flicked around, taking in all the details of the grand building. He wasn't paying much attention to what was going on as Neva fixed the arm band around his wrist. He finally looked back to her as she was putting her own on. "This should be fun." He smiled, a strange giddyness about him, as though coming to the museum had given him new life. Rather Ironic really. The place with dead mummies and such seemed to revive him somehow.

Neva wanders inside with Greg when she has fixed her own armband on, the hustle and bustle of the ground level taking her by surprise. Most of the people she knew in London would rather lop off a limb than visit a museum, she was sad to realise. But oh well, all the more fun for her and Greg. As she steps over to an exhibit of a rather ancient looking scroll, she frowns to see somebody beside her out of the corner of her eye. She turns around, spotting a grown man sporting a an Egyptian robe with an incredibly over sized Tuten Kamun head resting on his shoulders. She frowns, noting how ridiculous he wa acting in front of a group of clearly bored looking students. "Are your parents proud of you? They've never said so, have they?" she asks the man with an amused err, getting a finger for her trouble. "Nice..." she muses with a snort, turning back to the exhibit, Greg clearly amused by her side.

Greg chuckled lightly as he watched the man and Neva. As she turned away from him back to the exhibit, Greg gave her a smirk of appreciation. "Go Neva!" He laughed before letting his eyes move back to the exhibit, his mind still having thoughts about that silly man.

Neva smirks as Greg cheers her on, knowing that he too had little tolerance for such immature people. She could have understood if it was a teenager fresh out of school and looking to earn a bit of scratch, but a grown man was just pathetic. Kyra seemed to have developed the smallest of phobias of the man's large cartoon head too, the little girl shrinking into her mother as she tried to look everywhere but the man.

Greg spotted Kyra shrink away out of the corner of his eye, he indicated to Neva that Kyra looked worried, seemlingly because of the big headded man, not even big headded boy. But a fully grown man. "Maybe we should keep moving." He suggested lightly.

Neva hadn't noticed Kyra's reaction to the man until Greg pointed it out to her, the little girl having buried her head in her coat. "Awww. It's okay baby. The mean man won't hurt you" she soothes, nodding to Greg's comment and trailing away from the man, shooting him a scathing look as she wanders towards an exhibit of a set of ancient Egyptian Dolls. "Look Sweety. That one looks like Mr. Blue!" she exclaims, pointing at a rather tarnished looking Teddy Bear.

Greg limped over to the display of dolls and looked carefully at the one that Neva pointed out looked like Mr Blue. “Oh yes, he does!” He proclaimed, his eyes moving away from that doll and onto some of the other ones. It fascinated him trying to imagine little Egyptian children playing with these toys so many years ago. Maybe they had names for them like Kyra did, there was a whole world behind the simple dolls that they could never know.

Neva could tell that Greg was impressed with the display, the man being known for his immaturity. He was bound to enjoy a display of Toys, as he had some many of his own. Well, not Dolls or anything that little children would find interesting. But muggle items like the computer games and such that he enjoyed. She had never tried to figure out the point of the POke-things he would play with. Although she had to concede that a few of them were cute. "BLUE!!" Kyra shouts on the top of her lungs in an excited tone, getting some curious glances as Nva clamps a hand to her mouth.

Greg snapped out of his thoughts as Kyra shouted 'Blue!' He limped back over to them. "Yeah. It's Mr Blue." He said softly to her chuckling at how Neva had her hand over Kyra's mouth. The little girl didn't understand the etiqute of a museum yet, for all she knew, that was Mr Blue locked in that glass case.

Kyra didn't understand how Mr. Blue could be both hanging out of her mother's bag and in the glass case. But it seemed as though that was the situation. She points her finger at the bear whilst giving Greg a worried look. "Misser Blue..." she exclaims, her bottom lip shaking. Neva smirks, reaching into her bag and pulling out the girl's teddy bear. "He's right here sweety" she smiles, waving the thing in front of her face.

Greg couldn't help but smirk as Kyra seemed confused about how Mr Blue seemed to be in two places at once. "Mummy's got Mr Blue ya silly mook." He grinned, his eyes moving off in the direction of the other exhibits.

Kyra had no idea what a Mook was, but knew from experience with Greg that it was no doubt a playful insult. She pouts a little as she looks at a doorway leading down into the basement that was decorated to resemble the insides of an Egyptian tomb. The light at the top fo the stairwell had a smoky green tinge to it, a very alluring sight for a curious little girl. She gives her mother a curious, pleading look as if to ask if they could go check it out, the womal relenting as she sees Greg's eyes travel to it too. "Fine" she smiles, walking with Greg over to the exhibit entrance and down the dinghy steps into the tomb.

Greg smiled as they approached the fake Egyptian tomb. From the small amount of it that he could see as they approached at his slow pace, it looked exciting. He knew it seemed weird to find museums exciting and fun, but Egypt always had a spot in his heart. They decended the steps down into the tomb, being punged into a partial darkness with only spotlights on certain items and what looked like a sarcofaghas (seriously can't be arsed looking up how to spell it :P You know what I mean :P). Slowly he stepped into the 'tomb' his eyes almost glinting at the marvel of how well it had been recreated.

As Neva walks into the reconstructed tomb like exibit, she oculd feel a cold chill creeping up her spine as a strange fog drifts across the floor. "That's just cheesy...." she mutters, wandering over to an urn believed to contain the salvaged brain of Tutenkamun. She had always wondered why it was pretty much the only Egyptian monarch that people could name. She had always preferred Nefatiti but whatever lit one's candle. There was a strange Egyptian style coffin in the middle of the room, emitting strange noises that made Kyra shiver a little in her mother's arms as she ran her fingers over the hyrogliphic writing on the walls.

Greg nodded to Neva's sentiment. "I didn't know that tombs had fog." He muttered softly, not really thinking too much about the fog, his eyes drawn to the urn. As he approached it he read the information below, explaining that it was the brain of Tutenkamun. His attention drifted away from it slightly and moved towards the strange coffin. He limped over to it interestedly.

Neva was just wandering over to an area of wall that led into a jewel crevice when she hears a creaking noise near the coffin Greg had just walked towards. There is a loud bang as a heavily bandaged hand reaches up and pushes open the coffin very slowly, the lid slipping onto the floor as the re-animated mummy sits up, glaring at Greg. "Graaaaaaooooooorrrggggghhhhhhh" he groans, his arms held before him in a rather comical fashion as he attempts to stand up and, with some difficulty, steps out of the coffin. He lumbers towards Greg, his face mere centimetres from his as he lets out an inhuman, Banshee like scream before losing interest and wandering on.

Greg began to back away slowly as the coffin began to open. He knew it wasn't a real mummy, even if it was then it wouldn't REALLY be coming back to life. But he didn't fancy it as it began to rise. He only managed to get so far, the mummy almost being quicker than him as he limped backwards. Despite himself, he couldn't help but crap his pants as the mummy screamed in his face, sure that he could feel his hair being blown back by the noise. Feeling slightly dazed he retreated back to where Neva and Kyra were.

Neva raises an eyebrow in amusement at Greg's reaction to the re-animated Mummy, not being able to hide her laughter as he hobbles over to them like a kicked Puppy. "Nutty Daddy!" Kyra giggles, watching the Mummy go after a group of unsuspecting Japanese tourists.

Greg began to regain his composure as he turned back to Kyra and Neva. "It just... caught me by suprise." He lied unconvincingly, sticking his tongue out at the girl playfully.

Neva smirks, raising an eyebrow at Greg's lie. "Sure. I believe you. Thousands wouldn't though" she smirks, returning the tongue along with Kyra, who seemed to have become rather preoccupied with a mummified Spider she had noted in the corner of the room. The girl wasn't famed for having a very high tolerance of creepy crawlies of the eight legged variety.

Greg's eyes followed to where to spider was and he inched away ever so slightly. He wasn't scared of spiders as Kyra was but he wasn't totally fond of them, not really having much liking for many animals at all. "Why don't we keep moving eh?" He suggested lightly, knowing that Kyra wouldn't see that a mummified spider wouldn't get her.

Neva rolls her eyes a little as Greg shies away from the Mummified Spider, the little girl in her arms jumping a little as the creature begins to crawl down the wall nonchalantly. "You're both Wimps" she sighs, smirking as she wanders over to an exhibit of exhumed parts that had been removed from the bodies before mummification.

Greg limped over to the exhibit that Neva was leading them to, ignoring the comment that he was a wimp. He smiled slightly when his eyes landed on the exhumed body parts, being a healer he appreciated such things. "The way that the Egyptians used to do all this sort of stuff is facinating." He muttered to himself.
