Greg continued to watch them as they came onto the beach, after a while he couldn’t stand being so separated from them; he shakily got to his feet with the aid of his cane and limped over to where they were stood. There was an almost apologetic smile on his face as he approached them slowly, now and again he looked down at his leg nervously, but he reached them both without falling and that, Greg found, was quite an accomplishment.

"Daddy!" Kyra exclaims, watching Greg pick himself up and wander over to them. She breaks free from her mother, running over to him with her arms held wide. Neve smiles brightly as Greg approaches, following close behind Kyra as she makes her way to Greg. She gives the man a one armed hug before allowing Kyra to milk the attention for a while.

Greg smiled more widely as Kyra ran up to him, he basked in Neva’s one armed hug before picking Kyra up and hugging her as he held her. “My princess.” He said softly. Greg wanted to spin Kyra around, hold her up and run around playing Kyra the superhero or Kyra the aeroplane, but he didn’t think his leg would up to carrying a jumbo jet so he passed on the running around and simply enjoyed holding his daughter in his arms.

Neva could tell that Greg felt bad for not being able to play with Kyra as much as she could, but he had no reason to. Kyra was happy enough in her father's arms, watching the sun set over the ocean as she traces patterns on his chest with her finger. Neva lingers by their sides, watching Greg as he seemed so much happier than he had done in a long time.

Greg sat down on the sand with Kyra still in his arms, the little girl playing with her fingers on his chest as they watched the sun set. It was a beautiful sight, one that almost made him forget all his problems as he let the beautiful hues of orange, red and gold wash over him.

Neva perches down beside Greg as the sun sets, the water running over her toes as the light bounced off of the liquid. She casts an eye to her side, smiling to herself as Kyra rubs her eyes, falling asleep in Greg's arms. She yawns a few times, her small mouth hardly emanating any sound, before she closes her eyes. Smiling, she scooches a little closer to Greg and wraps an arm around her, resting her head on his shoulder. With the sight before her and the company she had at the moment, it was almost as though she had forgotten the tragedies that had brought them to fleeing here, escaping their friends just to get their heads around it all.

Greg watched the little girl sleep in his arms, smiling softly as he watched the last slithers of the sun drop away from the earth. "Thank you for bringing me out here." He said quietly. "We'll have to go back home soon but it's nice being out here with you and Kyra."

Neva allows a smile as Greg thanks her for the time they had here, simply dropping everything and being free for once. "It's no problem at all" she smiles, reaching out a hand and stroking her daughter's hair gently. "Whenever you're ready to go home, I shant protest" she replies softly, not really caring where they were as long as they were together.

Greg didn't exactly know if he wanted to go back home or not, it would mean going back to work and the worry that Eliza would pop up any second with her chainsaw in hand. However Greg wanted to work to give him something to do, with his leg he knew he couldn't do much but if he could still do his job he knew he would feel useful. "Lets give it a few more days, it's too beautiful here." He said breathlessly.

Neva was happy to hear that Greg was willing to spend a few more days here. She hadn't said it herself but she wasn't at all eager to get back to London. The only thing that really was calling her there was her work, everything else was right here beside her on the beach. "Whatever you want" she beams, yawning lightly as she catches sight of the first stars of the night. She could feel herself drifting off a little, fighting hard not to as she didn't think it would be too proper to fall asleep on the beach.

Lying back in the sand, Greg shifted closer to Neva, wrapping his arm around her back. He yawned as Neva did so, the action almost infectious. "It's a beautiful sight." [/BHe said softly, his eyes not on the stars, but fixed on his wife's face.

Neva was almost ,but not quite, overcome with giggles at Greg's statement. He couldn't possibly be talking about her, could he? His gaze being focused on her face seemed to suggest that he was. "You'll make me blush" she smiles, leaning in and kissing him, careful not to disturb Kyra as she places a tentative hand on his face.

Greg felt her kiss him and he kissed her back, thanking her silently for all she had done for him today. Greg carefully reached out and brushed a few stray hairs from her face, careful not to wake up Kyra with the motion.

Neva knew that his returning the kiss was his way of apologising for the downer he had cast before he allowed himself to be helped. She didn't think she had don much to help him herself. It was all down to him. He could have easily said no but he allowed himself to come here, to be helped into walking for himself and even swim for himself for a while. She runs her hands through his hair gently, noting how Kyra had contentedly begun to suck her thumb.

As Neva ran her hands through his hair he leant in for another kiss, despite his setbacks Greg had felt that he was starting to make progress with his leg, of course he knew he wouldn't do it without Neva's help. She supported him when his leg couldn't.

Neva can't help but smile ever brighter as Greg leans in for another kiss, brushing her hair off of her shoulders as it was rather annoying her at that particular moment. She pulls away for a moment, studying Greg with a mixture of love and adoration. Finding nothing to say she kisses him again before resting her head on his chest along side Kyra, watching the waves crash upon the rocks in front, just a little to the side of them.

Greg let out a contented sigh as Neva rested her head on his chest. As they watched the waves crashing against the rocks he didn't know if things could get more perfect. He was with the two people he loved more than life itself and they were in the most beautiful setting imaginable. It was perfect.

Neva could have watched the water forever, but as she slips into sleep something much more pleasant engulfs her dreams. Greg and Kyra were predominant in them, the only downside being that in her dream there was another child. The little boy she would have had if it wasn't for Eliza Malfoy. But that vision doesnt stay for long, Greg's face swimming in front of it to sooth her aching soul and arms.

Greg watched Neva as she slipped into dreams, he hoped that they would be good ones and even if they weren't he would be there for her. Had he been in a better condition legwise, he would have tried picking her up and taking her back to the villa, but there wasn't much chance of that. So instead he simply let himself fall into dreamland, the last sight he saw before his eyes closed for slumber was the peaceful face of Neva.

As the sun breaks on the Azure shore, Neva awakens with a soft yawn, blinking her eyes a couple of times to get them used to the light. She can't help but smile at the thought of where they had fallen asleep. How romantic! She lifts her head a little, seeing Kyra begin to stir. "Hi sweety" she smiles, sitting herself up gradually and scooping the little girl into her arms. Sitting her on her lap, they watch over the sleeping Greg, watching his chest rise and fall as he slowly begins to awaken himself.

It took a while for Greg's eyes to open. As he finally made his way into conciousness the first thing he did was yelp slightly, his leg had been slept on in a funny way and it felt oddly stiff and painful at the same time. However the sight of Neva and Kyra seemed to wash a bit of the pain away. "Morning." he said quietly, lifting his head up off the sand and not even bothering to try and move his leg.

Neva frowns a little as Greg opens his eyes, noting the pain he was in. But it seemed to lessen a little when he took note of the fact that he hadn't been sleeping alone. "Morning" she smiles, rocking Kyra gently as she slips back into dreams. "I think we should go before people start to think we're homeless and start to throw food at us" she chuckles, her sandy skin yearning for the shower anyway. Their holiday home seemed relaxing enough to spend the morning. Was it morning? She seemed to have lost track of time.

Slowly Greg pulled himself into a sitting position, moving his leg slightly as he did so and getting a shot of pain for his troubles. He nodded. "I agree." He smiled however the smile faded slightly at his next words. "Can you help me get up?" he asked, having to ask her feeling both embarrasing and demeaning.

The last thing that Neva wanted was for Greg to feel embarrassed in weak for asking for help, and she could see just that in his eyes. She wasn't about to begrudge him anything. Holding Kyra with one hand, her head resting on her shoulder, she wraps an arm around Greg as they share the burden of him getting to his feet. When he's upright, she bends down and takes hold of his cane, handing it to him with a smile.

Greg smiled weakly once he was back on his feet, taking his cane from Neva with a mutter of "Thanks." Hesitantly he took a step forwards, sure that he would just collapse like he had done at the hospital but suprisingly he still found himself able to hobble as they started the long walk, or in Greg's case limp, back to their villa.
