Greg managed to keep a smile on his face for a little while. He had been thinking over the idea of the ward since he'd been locked away and had been worried about mentioning, somehow thinking that Wilson would see him as weak. Now he'd told him, he was feeling a little better about it, a tiny gram of the weight on his heart had been lifted. "I can't promise you that. I'm moody when I'm detoxing..." |

Wilson would have smirked even more at Greg's statement, hd a Dementor not chosen that particular moment to begin looming over his shoulder. A chill runs down his spine as he tries to shrug the feeling off, a shudder running down his spine as he tries his best to ignore it. "Yeah. I kinda notices" he retorts, clearly uncomfortable in the creatures presence. |

Greg visably shivered as he felt and saw the dementor. "Y'know... you don't need to be here if you don't want... it's me the dementors should be feasting on." He sighed miserably, pulling his knees up to his chest and hugging them tightly in an effort to stop shaking and shivering. |

With a carefully posed glare at the Dementor, the creature begins to float away to amuse itself with another patient as Wilson turns back to Greg. "It's okay. I want to be here. It's either me or Neva, and let's face it, she has more reason to be afraid of these creatures" he explains, hoping he wouldn't be dismissed. |

Greg had to agree that it was better off having Wilson around than Neva and it was better having Wilson than nobody. "Alright." he mumbled quietly, finally stopping his shaking as the dementor glided away. "I can barely stand it and I've only been here a few days, how am I supposed to last three weeks?" he asked hopelessly, the small amount of hope that he'd gathered had quickly been snapped away by the dementor. |

Wilson grimaces a little at the thought of three weeks in Azkaban. All he could think was how glad he was that he himself wasn't in here. It made him feel ill to think of it. "I'm sure you'll be okay. Just make sure you keep that book close to your chest" he smiles knowingly, not having told the man that when he whomever his heart longed for most, he would see them as though watching their everyday antics with a hidden camera. Maybe it would put him at ease to see Neva and Kyra. |

Greg shrugged slightly, it was just a book. Something that would help to pass the time. "Sure..." he said vaguely, sighing. "This place is for criminals, I'm not a criminal." He whined. He knew he was just going in loops, complaining about Azkaban, but it was better him whining to Wilson rather than himelf. At least he wouldn't classify himself as insane yet. |

Wilson sighs. And so it begins again... "We know you're not a criminal. Heck, even the Aurors do. But you did wrong. You're paying the price for it. But when it's over you can put this all behind you and move on with your life" he reassures. "Just keep telling yourself that it's for the greater good" he shrugs. |

"There are thousands of people out there who turn up for work drunk, why do they get to go back to their lovely homes every night when I get stuck here..." He mumbled miserably, a clear note of self pity ringing through his words. |

Wilson breathes deliberately in a somewhat annoyed manner at Greg's words. "Those thousands of people arn't the head healer of a prestigeous hospital are they? They're using you as an example for those others, maybe so they can deter them from making the same mistakes" he explains, knowing there was probably more to it. |

Greg knew that the idea of setting an example hardly ever worked outside of the minds of pen pushing ministry officials. "Then they should send me to Rehab not Azkaban, drinking isn't a crime." he sighed, though it was pretty much a crime to poke around in other people's brains without their consent. |

Wilson shrugs, ignoring the calls from down the corridor, telling him to wrap up hi visit. "When you have you ever known the Ministry to think logically?" he asks in an exasperated tone, never having held much faith in what they did. |

Greg sighed and nodded. "I'll give you that." he could hear the shouts of the guards furher down the corridor telling Wilson to finish up his visit. "You should go." He sighed. "If you get them in a piss they'll try their hardest to stop you ever visiting again." |

Wilson wasn't sure that he should leave just yet, Greg being in such a state. But he wasn't liable to get much better through his ordeal. "Are you sure?" he asks, frowning as the shouts from the guard continue. He sighs, knowing that he pretty much didn't have a choice in the matter. "Fine. I'll go. Try to keep yourself in somewhat okay spirits" he sighs, giving him a last hopeful look before turning and walking down the hallway and out of sight. |

Greg watched Wilson sadly as he left. "Tell Neva I'm missing her." He called to the retreating back of Wilson though knowing that the message would be delivered to Neva wether or not he had told him to. With a sigh he began to flick through the book, trying to think of something he wanted to read as he tried to distract himself. ooc: long Greg seeing Neva through the book thing when I'm concious again ^_^ *giggle* |

Greg flicked aimlessly through a medical textbook. Not really reading, just trying to keep his eyes and mind away from the dementor hovering past his cell. Eventually he stopped trying to read and curled up under the covers, hugging the book close as though he was scared of loosing it. He frowned slightly as the words on the front changed to 'Neva Amos-Laurence'. Curiously he hopened it up and with a small gasp, saw Neva playing with Kyra at the front desk. He watched the page longingly, his heart aching to just burst through his chest and be with Neva. He felt saddened as he saw how she obviously had been crying and how under the face she was putting on for Kyra, she seemed ready to cry again if somebody even dared to breathe on her. "Neva." He whispered longingly. "I'm still with you... don't leave me..." |

Greg had spent a week and a bit in Azkaban. He'd begun to see visions or hallucinations of people, mainly his dad, Luna, Eliza and sometimes Lisa would pop up to remind him of how it was his fault she was dead. The book had only helped him so far, eventually it didn't stop the shouts of his dad or the screams of Neva as Eliza tortured her. He'd also noticed that his arm was twitching, something that scared the hell out of him as he'd seen it in many people that had gone insane from Azkaban. He was petrified about going insane, he didn't want that, the last time he'd gone insane he'd ran around naked, something that would be even more disturbing now. His leg was in constant pain, without his cane or pain medication it was constantly stabbing at him. He'd shouted at one or two guards asking them for pain relief but they just told him to shut up and stop whining. He was beginning to look forward to rehab, he'd willingly be locked up anywhere as long as it didn't have dementors. He'd had his father reminding him what a useless lump of shit he was. He'd had Lisa reminding him how he'd killed her. He'd had Eliza and Luna reminding him off all the times they'd 'PWNed his ass' in their words. He'd also had Neva telling him that she didn't want him any more, that she'd been waiting for an opportunity to leave him, that she'd gone off with Julian because Greg wasn't what she wanted anymore. She didn't want a drunk, crippled convict. He'd tried to tell himself that it was just the dementors, that he could see her through the book, that she wasn't going anywhere but he was beginning to doubt it, the book could be lying to him. It was safe to say that he was feeling extremely horrid, depressed, scared. His only hope was that he'd be getting out in a while, he hoped. |

Zarlinker, having just left a meeting with her bosses, wanders silently along the corridor, humming to herself as she makes her way to her latest detainee's cell. She wears a rather sarcastic smile as she watches him, her Ebony skin making her melt into the shadows a little. "Mr Laurence. We're prepared to cut you a deal. We're prepared to free you from your cell now if you go into the care of the Mungo's Rehab centre" she explains cooly. |

Greg was curled up on his bed shaking ever so slightly when that annoying woman who'd locked him up arrived. He listened to her before shaking his head or rather, jerking it slightly. He'd thought over his idea of going into rehab, he didn't like the idea much any more. He didn't want to get locked up in some other place for even longer. "No." He muttered. "I'm not going to get locked up in some place I don't belong to avoid getting locked up in some other place I don't belong." |

Zarlinker rolls her eyes at the man's words, not aversed to a little blackmail to get her way. "Are you sure you don't want to reconsider that? Because I'm sure if you're willing to be locked up, we can find a reason to find your colleages to be too." she explains in a much cooler voice than before. "I avoided questioning Mrs Laurence about her part for now, but I can always find it beyond my control and bring her in" she adds. |

Greg bit his lip. He'd been though hell for the past almost 2 weeks, he wasn't going to let Neva go though the same, if not worse. "Fine." He muttered. "I'll take the deal." Despite his displeasure, there was a part of him that was glad he was taking the deal for rehab, that part of him had been crying for Neva every night. He shakily got to his feet and slowly crossed over to the the bars of his cell. |

"You made the right choice" Zarlinker nods as she unlocks the door with a set of keys she had removes from her belt. She didn't see any need to restrain the man at the present moment, and so allows him to walk freely as she leads him down the corridor and to the elevator that would remove them from the prison. |

Greg limped as fast as he could (which wasn't very fast) out of the cell and the prison, becoming more and more pleased at his decision as he made his way further from the dementors. He wasn't really thrilled at going to rehab, but he was out of Azkaban and really, that was what mattered. |
