You walk through a door to the side of the classroom. Upon walking in you are greeted by the sight of several books at various angles stacked upon the shelves. Several are filled with spells directing you how to protect yourself in precarious situations. Some contain information of the other side. Books on vampires, were wolves, and even one about the Dark Arts. Papers are stacked halph hazardly on a small desk with a comftroable looking chair pulled up to it. Come here if you have a question for the Professor or would just like to talk about DADA. |

Seith Naruja walked into his office, feeling a tad lonely. He had left his darling Isabella at home and was missing her already. He plopped down in his chair and began scribbling on a piece of parchment, writing down his lessons plan. He decided it would be wise to start with something more basic to kick off the school year. But at every other word his hand moved of it's own accord and wrote Bella, the pet name he called his girlfriend, whom he was madly in love with. After awhile, he gave up and sat back in his chair, wondering where he could find a girl to get an opinion on the necklaces he had purchased for Isabella. They were all cerulean, her favorite color, and cut of he finest Sapphire. He couldn't help but shower her with gifts, though he felt anything of the earth would be inadequate of this beautiful vision of a woman. Seith gently placed a few on his desk. The last one looked like her, but he wondered.... He tapped his fingers impatiently on his desk, finished writing the lesson plan, and then pulled out another piece of parchment, quill posed to write Miss Cole a letter. It was definitley a different way of communicating, sense he was so used to actually talking to her, but it would suffice from now. Dear, sweet, darling Bella, he started and then bit the end of his quill in deep thought. How did one write a letter filled with love that could only be found in your heart? How could you possibly transfer th emotion over to parchment? |

Ionn knocked on the door to his fellow colleagues office. He had been walking around the castle in a good mood, he had found his lost love and was now reunited with her and could not have asked for anything else. He had a teaching position, that even if it was not as exciting as his adventures with humans it still gave him a chance to do something he loved dearly and share his knowledge with young eager minds. Well, he hoped they were eager to learn about the ancient languages of those before them. This earth was definitely bigger than Fincayra and held many languages fascinating languages they could learn about. Ionn pulled himself out of his thoughts as he waited to introduce himself to his fellow colleague. He would probably have liked to sit around with Nerina before classes started but he decided that it was best if they stayed away from each other for a small amount of time so that they would actually be able to get something done instead of displaying a show of emotion, not that Ionn minded, but things had to be done and it seemed they would only distract each other after being separated for so long. |

Seith tapped his quill over and over on the parchment, sliding a hand down his face. "Um..." he mumbled, biting his lip and not sure what to write. If he had all of the ink and parchment in the world, he still wouldn't have enough to record how much he loved Isabella Cole. Dear Bella, my sun he rewrote after he had scratched out the first line. But that didn't seem right, either. "Well this is harder than I thought," he murmure, feeling homesick. He wanted to hold his beautiful blonde again and see Anya's sweet and smiling face. Seith got up and glanced around his room, not quite feeling at home, yet. As he heard a knock on the door, he stumbled to it, examined his messy office, let out a sigh and opened the door. Smile Seith... You're at Hogwarts! He encouraged himself and a grin spread across his face, though it really wasn't that genuine. "Hello sir," Seith greeted. "I'm Seith Naruja." He held out his hand for Ionn to shake and took in this man's appearance. He seemed to be incredibly wise and thoughtful-looking. He wondered what he taught, and where he came from. Seith noticed the necklaced on his desk and with a wave of his wand, they neatly folded themselves into a velvet bag. Seith took Ionn's hand and gave it a warm shake, glancing over to the parchment that was on his desk and with another wave of his wand, that was gone to. But even with things that reminded him of Isabella no longer in view, he was still thinking of her. |

Ionn smiled as the door was opened, "Hello," He replied cheerily as Seith greeted, him, he quickly took in Seith's features and could see that his man was probably his age and had seen times as bad if not worse then him, for creases upon his forehead could be nothing more then those of worry as his were. "Nice to meet you Seith, I'm Ionn Tamwyn Ancient Runes professor." He introduced himself as he shook Seith;s hand, He was sure he had heard that name before. Naruja? where did he hear it. Well he didn't read the papers he was sure he hadn't read it in a book. Where? he wondered. Ionn's mind began to pull things up something to do with a list adn Nerina. Nerina...he couldn't stop thinking about her, she was everything to him. He noticed Seith's reflex and wondered if he was interrupting anything. Ionn hated to be interrupting anyone in the middle of their work, he knew how vital it was to get things before the students arrived for class the next day. "I'm sorry if you were busy, I guess I can talk to you later," He apologized with a smile and prepared to make his way down the hall again. |

Seith was thoroughly impressed. Ancient Runes had never been his best subject. Which was odd sense he seemed to excel in all of his classes, being a bookworm and studier when he was younger. Though he had also been outgoing and outdoorsy, he had spent alot of time indoors reading. "Well hello Ionn." The name did not come easily to his tongue, sense he had never heard it before, but after rehearsing it in his mind, he finally managed to get it out, though Ionn's name was a bit murdered by his accent. He grinned back and nodded friendily. "Ancient Runes. I need to reteach myself the subject. It was quite a hard course," he pointed out and felt saddened when Ionn turned to leave. He didn't want to be left alone with his homesickness. "No, no. I was just writing a letter," he explained, and then added with a chuckle. "And I have to say I'm not very good at it. I like to talk, I like to read words, but when I go to write them... Especially when I want to say something perfect... It's a bit difficult," Seith mumbled, trying to convey what he was feeling. Once again, his thoughts traveled to Isabella. The way he thought about her was very much the way a husband loved their wife, though those thoughts hadn't entered his mind, yet. Seith loved Isabella, but he hadn't quite put two and two together. |

Ionn wondered whether this human was from a different region of the earth, he had read that accents differed from nation to nation and if he was correct this man was from the middle east! Amazing! he was meeting meeting people from all over the world in one place! If Seith had been impressed it was nothing to compared to how much Ionn was impressed and curious. "I have been studying ancient runes ever since I was the age of ten but never really thought about teaching the subject until I came here and stumbled upon the job." Ionn explained as he turned to leave. He stopped when Seith said it was alright and smiled, "Oh ok, I didn't want to interrupt anything, well letter writing can be hard I suppose when one can not find the words to say, or is not able to describe what one feels." he said with a nod and thoughtful look. he remembered running into similar problems when he thought of a new song to write to explain the deep love he had for his beautiful Nerina. "I have run into very similar problems but sometimes the best way to write a letter is to imagine the person is sitting in front of you and write what you would say or tell them about." Ionn offered it had always worked for him. |

"Ten?" He inquired, running a hand thoughtfully through his hair and standing up. "Does Durmstrang and Hogwarts allow that early for Ancient Runes?" Seith inquired. "Well perhaps Hogwarts does..." He mused, unaware that Ionn was from a vast and mysterious place with many adventures. Seith nodded as Ionn talked. He was sure he knew what he wanted to say, but how to say it was a whole other matter. How was one supposed to capture your love on a page? But the advice did sound good... "I think I'll try that," he finally decided. Not at the moment, for it would be rude to start writing a letter when you had company, but perhaps later. Plus, he needed to get out of the office and stretch a bit, for he was feeling a bit restless and overwhelmed by his surroundings. They were so different from Isabella's house, or her parent's house. He began to wonder if Anya had picked up any new words, and he half-smiled, his gaze traveling to the pictures on his desk. From one, Anya was grinning and making a bird sign with her little hands, from another Isabella was grinning and waving to him. There were more, as well, of him and Bella taking a stroll through a historical library, or the three at the park, feeding the ducks, or at a petting zoo, or merely going to get some icecream. Seith chuckled to himself, knowing he probably had too many pictures on his small desk area and made a mental note to find some shelves for them. |

"Well to be honest with you I'm not from this land." He said with a shrug, "I come from the isle of Fincayra and only came here a few months ago with my partner." Ionn explained. "Yes try it it will help and then after you are done writing you can look it over and remold it." Ionn suggested further. he wondered who Seith had been writing to for it to stump him so. However one look at the pictures that cluttered the professors desk and he knew without needing to ask. For the desk was littered with pictures of a woman and a child Seith with either of them or both in the pictures most of the time. Ionn smiled thinking the woman might be Seith's wife and the child theirs although she did not resemble any one of them at all. Ionn had decided it was time for him and Nerina to wed but he had to propose first adn he too had wanted a family of his own especially after growing up and orphan. he looked back at Seith shaking himself out of his reverie, "So Seith how did you gain interest in teaching defense against the dark arts?" Ionn asked his curiosity returning he wanted to know all there was about the subject since it had been a major discussion of the group of young people he had the chance to share adventures with back home in Fincayra. A home very far from him at the moment, but he pushed that thought out his mind he was not going to feel homesick now after all this time. |

"Fincayra," he repeated, trying the word out on his lips. "I don't believe I have heard of it," Seith pointed out, and was surprised, for he knew geography quite well. "Is it a new island?" he asked, realizing that all of his maps were quite old. He wondered what Ionn's partner's name was, and he absent mindely nodded as Ionn explained this. "Alright. I will try that. Thank you very much." He leaned back against his desk, the backs of his legs pressing against the wood, as he tackled Ionn's next question. He didn't want to scare his follow colleauge, but he really didn't want to lie. "I... I was brought up in a rather negative enviroment," he started carefully. "And when I wa young I began to notice that I really did not agree with my family's views. I suppose my teenage years when I became a bit rebellious is when I tackled Defense Against The Dark Arts with my heart, and grasping every book in sight. Then my parents and I had a falling out..." His gaze now traveled to one picture that was different from the rest, of a tan woman with sparkling brown eyes and long, black hair. He turned his attention back to Ionn and decided to finish story time, now. "And so here I am," Seith concluded, hoping Ionn wouldn't press for details. The fact that his parents had killed his wife was still so fresh on his heart and if he dwelled on it for longer than about five minutes it got him to thinking that his family might hurt Isabella, and that thought led him to a panc attack, and he didn't wish to hyper venilate at the time, so Seith dodged the topic. |

Ionn looked at him in confusment and then remembered not all humans knew about Fincayra. "No Fincayra is an ancient isle between the heavens and the earth. A mysterious isle filled with beautiful creatures and rivers of honey. Like any place however it has it's dark places and people but overall from the Druma Wood to the lost islands Fincayra is an amazing place." Ionn said suddenly homesick. He waved of the feeling deciding it best if he did not dwell on it. Many memories good and bad and been formed there each special in its own way. Ionn noticed another picture on Seith's desk but decided not to question it for he seemed to be skirting around the subject of what lead him to teach here. He decided instead to ask about the subject in it's self. Surely there was no harm in that? thought the bard. "have you received the student list?" Ion asked him remembering that he was supposed to pass it on after he had finished allowing Nerina to see who was going to be in her class. Nerina he sighed inwardly, always on his mind always there even when she wasn't far away. |

Seith's eyes widened and he felt utterly confused. "Between the heaven's and the earth? Rivers of honey?" he inquired. Usually, he would be skeptic but if it was possible for him to feel something so magical towards Isabella then surely anything and everything was possible. "You'll have to tell me about it," commented the Defense teacher with a nod. "I've never heard of it, actually..." He trailed off, in deep thought. Were things like this; magical lands, really there? Things he read in fantasy books as a child... Could they possibly be true? Innocent hope was beginning to shine through like a little child still believing in Santa Claus and he wished to expand his knowledge of all places, dreampt up, unheard of, or charted. Of course, he had read loads on vacation (with his sweet Bella curled up in his lap), but it did not quench his insatiable thirst for words, facts, and tales. Would there ever be a day where he had read to his curiousity's fill? He hoped not. He hoped there would be no end to their days in the library, readings in the Gardens, and visits to museums. Hand in hand they would stroll, making his head dizzy with excitement of learning and excitement of the woman beside him. He was snapped from his reverie by Ionn's next worrds and blinked a few times, deciding it was rude to drift away in his thoughts while he had company. Though it was extraordinarily hard with someone like Bella on your mind. "No, I don't believe I have, actually," Seith said, after clearing his throat. |

Ionn nodded, "I will tel you about, it is sad people do not know where the Great Wizard Merlin learned of his powers and his destiny." He said nodding gravely as he wondered shy these human knew so little about their past and culture. He Shook the thoughts from his head and averted his attention back to Seith as he said he had not received the lost. Ionn shook his head, 'I'm sorry it is my fault I have it but my bag is outside I seamed to have forgotten it there after i was sitting with my partner discussing it and the students. " He explained as he made a move towards the grounds, "So shall we?" He asked him again waiting for the mans response as stared at the floor patiently. |

Seith nodded, amazed that he hadn't heard of it. Though all of his life, he had only learned of Dark Wizards roots, and his parents were uncaring about the other greats. He could recite every fact of Lord Voldemort's rise to power and much about Salazar Slythering, but he didn't know alot about Dumbledore and Merlin. He would have to learn, though. Now that he was settled and off of the run. Perhaps he would surprise Isabella with a book about Merlin that they could read together when he came home for visits. It seemed every sentence he began ended with a thought of Bella. She was his desire, and his love. He felt it was impossible to ever turn his mind off of her. Soon he'd have to give her, her necklace, once he had figured out which one she would like. Beautiful Isabella Cole only deserved the best. He would lasso the moon, if she desire it, and bottle the sun, if she asked. Nothing was too much for her, and he felt everything was too little. "It is a shame," he finally agreed. "I will make it my buisness to educate myself and others," Seith finally decided, a man of actions and rational thinking before actions. At Ionn's next words, he shook his head and dismissed them with a wave of his hand. The curly headed man had been much more forgetful than his colleauge before, and understood. "Oh not a problem. It's a nice day for a walk," he pointed out, feeling much more optimstic than when Ionn had entered, though homesickness still clawed at his belly. He nodded at Ionn's question, wishing to know the names of his students, and grabbed a jacket that was slung on the back of his chair, folding it over one arm and careful not to knock any pictures over. ooc: you post at the lake :D |

Seith entered his office with slumped shoulders, a man of many troubles, and many woes. He slid his hand fondly across the smooth surface of his desk, and gathered all of his pictures in his arms, stacking them neatly in the cardboard box he had brought with him. With each picture he picked up, he grinned at Isabella, and was forced to think optimistically. This way, he could make sure she was safe. He would be training to be an auror, and ridding the world of evil. But teaching... It seemed a calling for him. How he loved the beaming faces of eager students! How he loved their inquisitive minds! How he loved children! With a heavy sigh, he shook his head, massaging his temples to rid himself of a pounding headache. Fingers convulsing with nerves and stomach twisting and churning with nausea, he made his way out of his office for the last time, preparing to meet up with his sister, and move permantly to Italy. |
