Greg was lost for what to do or say. He wasn't lost for what to do being as the only thing he could do was lie down helplessly and he was doing that anyway. He just didn't know what he could say to the woman. She was the only one that he trusted and if she didn't trust in herself then he was trusting in nobody and Greg needed somebody to lean up against, to stop him just dissapearing off the face of the earth.

Neva bites her lip softly in thought, sensing the nothingness that seemed to transcend Greg's aura. She needed to be strong for him, that she knew. But she couldn't help but think: Who would there be to be string for her? Who could be her crutch? She always seemed to be the one to provide the shoulder and the friendly ear, never asking and thus never getting it in return. She sorely needed it, but who could she count on? She releases her lip, a small amount of blood trickling down her chin as she realises she had bitten a little harder than she had thought or intended. But it didn't matter. She didn't know how to tell the man she was resting against how she felt. She only knew how to show him that he would always be able to count on her. She cocks her head up slowly and kisses him deeply, her tongue caressing his own in some private dance that somehow always made her feel ever so slightly better.

Greg was pleased as Neva began kissing him, glad that even when words were failing him, their simple bodies would allow them to communicate what could be said. He just wanted to show her that he could offer the same kindness that he gave her. When she found him he was simple, snarling and broken. Neva had picked up his peices and crafted him into somebody who cared about people and was able to keep up a relationship that needed no explanation. They were meant for each other. No question about that.

ooc: Awwww!

Neva could feel a small fire ignite in Greg, the warmth that had caressed her since they had begun their relationship enveloping her in it's embrace. She had given up so much for him, her marriage, the respect of most of her friends...But she regretted none of it. She had found peace of mind and a love she had never felt before in Greg. It was as though they were both created to heal each other both physically and spiritually. She entwines her fingers with his as she kisses him, not caring that the Cat on her bed was no doubt watching them by now.

Wilson, having left Diaand the baby to their own devices for the moment, edges into the Private Ward, stopping for a moment by the door until Greg and Neva notice him. He bites his lip, somewhat regretting breaking up the little moment of peace that they had shared since the whole nasty mess occured. He sighs, edging his way into the room and walking over to the bed. "Neva. I thought you may like to know that Diane's just given birth" he explains in a cool voice, still rather numb to the whole thing. He honestly couldn't imagine how Greg had taken to Kyra so easily. It was as though he was completely detached from the child. He hated having to be the one to tell Neva and Greg, knowing it would be a kick in the teeth after what they had just lost. As Neva expresses a wish to see her, he helps her out of bed, nodding solemnly to Greg before leading her to the door. Halfway down the corridor they part company, Wilson on his way to the office whilst Neva walks to Diane's ward.

Greg had been enjoying his one moment of peace until Wilson came in and spoke to Neva, Greg not really interested in the words as pain shot through his leg as though it was really being shot. He winced slightly as Neva got off the bed and left, his heart jumping out and following her down the corridor. That was what he wanted to do, follow her, be able to stay with her, but his leg was so mangled he could barely move it a centimetre, let alone WALK with it. It would take time and effort for it to be restored but his traumatised mind wouldn't accept that as he pulled the covers off himself and swung his left leg over the side of the bed, slowly and carefully followed by his right. With both feet firmly planted on the floor he tried standing up, with his weight held on his left leg he could keep himself up with a small wobble, but as he tried taking a step forward his leg crumbled beneath him and he fell. Greg yelped as he clattered to the floor, his hands scrabbling around trying to heave himself back up but he was simply unable to. Tears almost pricked the corners of his eyes again as he looked down at himself, feeling embarrased at the sight. He'd already lost so much, and now he couldn't even stand up properly.

Eric hurried about St. Mungos after leaving his house. Not liking staying there incase the silver-haired shemale came back again. He was not in the mood to give Miss Eliza Malofy mouth-to-mouth ever again. Even if it was just to save her life. It was rather rotten. But --- it was nice, he must admit. Thinking of shemales, he walked towards the Private Wards. To See Gregory. To see his boss. The New Shemale of St Mungos. He slowly opened the door and peered his head in, spotting Greg upon the floor. He gave a short laugh "Hey Dickless! You tried to get up after your woman?" he asked, noting the empty bed that was Neva's bed. He slowly walked towards Greg and stood over him. "You silly ass. You won't be bale to walk on all two feet for a while." he told him, bending down and helping Greg up to his feet, half-tempted to let Greg go and let him fall. But he didn't. He didn't want to cause anyone else to have a Heart Attack. He took out his wand and waved it, conjuring up a cane. He plucked it from the air as he made Greg sit down on the bed. "See this? It's called a Cane. You have to use it now, alright?" he told Greg, talking like one would talk to a small child. "I'll put this beside your bed so when you're strong enough, you can use it. Okay?" he chuckled, this was funny.

Greg began to panic as Eric entered the room and began barrading him, he was a death eater taunting his pray. However he let the man help him on the bed, seeing no other way of getting on there without somebody's help. Once he was in the safety of his covers he curled up slightly underneath them, hiding his head under the pillow in a strange attempt to protect himself. "Go away you evil death eater." He hissed from under the pillow. "You're fired! Yeah! You're fired!" He shouted, his voice slightly more confident as he did so. "You don't have a job now!"

Kat: I second the notion!

Eric :: BITCH!
Me :: Don't make me turn him evil now.

Fine but dont call your boss a bitch :P

Eric rolled his eyes at Gregory. "I am not a death-eater." he said calmly, pulling up a chair and sitting across from Greg. "If I was a Death-Eater, I would be torturing you right now. Right? And I wouldn't of helped you up. I'd of just kicked you while you were down." he told him, twirling the cane around his fingers as he looked at Greg. At the words of 'Fired', he felt a lump in his throat but shook it off quickly. Greg wasn't sane right now. He didn't mean that. "You don't mean that, Greg. If you fire me, I might just have to push you back down to the ground and hit you over the head with this cane I have for you." he muttered, obviously being sarcastic with him. "Calm down and get some rest. Neva will be back in a while."

Greg's mind ticked over what Eric had said but before he could think of what to say to the man, his words floated out of his head on a rough breeze. His angry face turned blank and he curled himself up even more under the covers. "I don't want to stay here." he muttered, more to himself than Eric. "I want to go home."

Neva, having been to see Dominic and give him a cuddle, slips back in to the ward, plainly looking as though she had been crying. Her clothes still smelled of the small boy, making her heart break as she tried hard not to breathe in through her nose and smell him. She bites her lip as she spots Eric, giving him a weak smile and a nod before sitting in a chair by Greg's bed and curling up, having no mid to get into bed.

Eric looked at Greg, putting the bottom of the cane upon the floor and resting his chin upon the top of it. He frowned, unsure of what he could say to ease Greg's fear. His eyes shot up as Neva came in, spotting how her eyes seemed rather puffy and red, he frowned slightly and moved his chin from the cane. "Hello Neva." he murmured slightly, stopping her weak smile. "Shall I leave?" he asked, not wanting to interupt anything that Neva might want to say to Greg.

Greg's eyes followed Neva as she entered the room and sat down beside him. He could see that she was upset but he didn't have the right mind to ask her about it, staring ahead as though his eyes were seeing something past her, when in reality he wasn't really seeing anything at all. Just staring ahead because there wasn't really anything else he could do. He was just a curled up, wide eyed mess.

Neva wasn't sure what to say to Greg as she nods silently to Eric, the silence uncomfortable and painful. She waits for him to leave before sighing, curling up even tighter in her chair. She couldn't help but hate Diane even just a bit for leaving her. She was supposed to be there so she could fawn over little Dominic and try and forget about the unbearable pain she felt at the knowledge that not only had she lost her own little boy, she would never have the chance to be a mother again. She loved Kyra with all her heart, but she also knew how lonely it was to be an only child.

Eric noted Neva's nod and slowly stood up, leaving the cane beside Greg's bed for when Greg was fit to use it. He slowly walked out of room, leaving Neva and Greg alone.

Greg managed to bring himself to focus on Neva, the silence was painful and he broke it with the only words he could muster. "I don't like it here." He said quietly, sounding like a child. "It's not nice." His voice was trembling slightly as he spoke.

Neva bites her lip softly, knowing that he was right. It was awful here. She had only ever come here once because of something good, everything else was just unbearable. "What do you say we leave the hospital, pick up Kyra and go away for a while?" she asks, longing for something that wasn't a constant reminder of what they had lost. She just wanted to go away for a little while to clear her head and allow herself to grow thankful for what she did still have.

Greg thought about what she said, it would be nice to get away from all the nasty death eaters and be with his family, but he looked down at his legs under his covers and looked back up at her helplessly. "I can't even stand up." He said quietly, feeling very much like a helpless baby. That was what he had been reduced to. A baby.

Neva bites her lip softly, knowing that he really did want to leave, if he really did care how utterly trapped and pained she felt everytime she saw this place, he would try his hardest. "Try walking with your cane" she suggests, hoping he would at least for her. She just couldn't bear to spend another night here knowing all that she had lost. "Please." she adds in a small voice, her eyes weary and pleading.

Greg could feel the emotion in her voice as she asked him to try walk with his cane. The thought of falling down made him feel sick again, almost as if he was afraid of the floor, that if he fell down he wouldn't get back up again. But Neva was the one person he could trust and he pulled the covers off himself, reaching over and taking hold of the cane. He placed the wood onto the floor before gently easing his feet down and standing up. He was literally shaking as he stood with his cane, a smile passed his face slightly. "I-- I'm wa--" He put his foot forward slightly to walk but his leg crumpled beneath him, making him fall painfully to his knees.
He howled with the pain for a second before going quiet, staying on his knees as he lowered his head and tears formed in his eyes. He couldn't do it for her, he had tried and he was failing her. "I'm sorry." He whispered quietly.

Watching Greg plummet to earth, she drops down by his side, her heart breaking as she saw how truelly vilnerable he was. "It's not your fault" she whispers, kissing him softly on the head before placing her arms around him. "Let's try it one more time" she suggests, gently guiding him to his feet. She stays beside him as one arm wraps around him and hold son arm, the other holding onto his hand tightly as she gently guides him forward.

Greg wasn't too sure about trying again, he was feeling so bad that he was ready to suggest to Neva that she leave him here and go on holiday without him. He felt like he was dragging her backwards in her fight to accept what had happened. He was just pulling her back. Despite this he let her help him up, standing as shakilly as he had done before. He nervously put his foot forward, expecting to fall as he had done before, but it simply trembled a little and stood firm. With Neva's guidance he put another foot forwards, and another, slowly shuffling across the room with the help of Neva and the cane. He wiped the tears from his eyes and beamed, "I'm walking!" He cried. He didn't care how silly it sounded but he was filled with joy that he could still move, even if very slowly and painfully, he could still move.

Neva smiles brightly at Greg as he appears overjoyed with his movement, giving him a quick hug before breaking free again. "Well what do you say we blow this joint?" she asks, knowing that they would have to be very careful not to let any other healer spot their escape. "Well have to swing back home for clothes and Kyra first though" she adds, knowing that Loudon was looking after her at home that day.

ooc: well as you well know the 2 healers on duty are a bit preoccupied so the escape should be smooth

Greg nodded carefuly, as though any quick movement would throw him off balance. "It's not like I can make a run for it though." He gave a small chuckle, stifiling it slightly as though he shouldn't be laughing. None of the healers would stop him, and if they did then he could simply say he was discharging himself. He was obviously not well and his mind still slightly messed up from everything, but he was still head healer.

Neva nods quietly, holding on to him a little tighter as she leads him out of the ward. She knew that it was a bit of a cop out to just cut and run, but it wasn't as though she would be leaving forever. She just wasn't exactlysute how long they would be gone for.

Reaching the private wards William gently levitated the woman onto a bed and went to work healing what injuries he could. As he progressed, he discovered what few knew.....that Ashley had been pregnant, had being the oportune word. "Oh Ash," Will replied sadly as he finished healing and cleaned up the bloody garments, magically exchanging them for hospital gard as he tried to make her comfortable before taking a seat to watch over her.
