Below the break is the link to the original article which features the World's Strongest Beer. The ABV clocks in at a whopping 32%. By comparison my favorite spirit, Captain Morgan's has a 35% ABV. I have to ask what kind of taste this stuff has, it just doesn't seem like it would be enjoyable at all to drink it like you would a regular or even high-gravity beer. One of my favorite high-gravity beers is Stone Imperial Russian Stout with a 10.5% ABV. When I was drinking it I remember thinking to myself that any beer stronger than this one would be impossible to enjoy, so I have no idea how one three times as strong can be considered anything more than a novelty item. http://www.thesun.co.uk/scotsol/homepage/n...parks-fury.html |

Yeah, that sounds ridiculous. I've had my fair share of barley wines, and those are often too strong (Sierra Nevada's Bigfoot is a winner). I'd still like to try it, though, just to say I had it. |

Damn, 32 percent? I've got one called Ismael's that I got for being in my friend's wedding that is like 14 or 16 percent and I thought that was insane. Good call on that Russian Imperial stout though Champ. I've had one similar called Rasputin that is around 10% that is unbelievably smooth. |

I'd have the Dogfish Head 120 Minute IPA which is somewhere around 22% or something. It wasn't awful, and I'd order it again, but not regularly. |

Sam Adams has a new one out with 27%. I forget what it's called. It's banned in 13 pussy states. |
