Senate Passes $636 BILLION Military Bill

Obviously 636 billion is a lot of money, but it's not just what we're paying for war, it's what we're paying for peace.

Personally, I used to be really alarmed by all this military money, but I've almost made a complete 180 and now think it's totally necessary. If we ignore Afghanistan and Iraq (even though this is a big if), what kind of world do we live in now? I say a peaceful one. Our navy is the best example of this, we spend more than everyone, but there aren't any naval wars.

I think our huge military gap/nukes deter conventional war, and I consider conventional war the worst thing ever...worse than a Satan/Hitler tag team assrape. A single conventional war for America would cost far more than this. Better safe than dead I say.
