Politicians and the media alike are turning to Twitter for feedback from constituents/viewers/readers/people. What do you think? Does anybody else twitter? |

I hardly ever use facebook and have never used the status update thing so Twitter is a bit far from my reach at the moment. The "blogosphere" already had too many blogs whose authors over-estimated how interesting their lives and thoughts are, and twitter just lowers the barrier of entry for more people like that. Not against the service, just not for me. |

There were a shitload of funny fake Twitters for awhile. One was this back-and-forth fight between Hulk Hogan and Macho Man Randy Savage. It turned out to be a DUD, but I thought it was real at the time. I feel ripped off. |

I just saw some blurb about Twitter, scrolling across ESPN's bottom line. Does this qualify as "Jumping The Shark" for Twitter? I had no idea what the blurb said, but it seems like they're using it as a legitimate journalistic source now. Also, I'd seen some posting's of Chuck Grassley's Twitter on a sports blog (likely combo, eh?). Seems like everywhere I go, there it is. So, is Twitter the fuckin' Borg or something??? It's assimilating the gotdamned internet! |

They were using Twitter as a source for information regarding player news and etc. I don't remember specifics, but it was something like "Player A is being withheld from the game due to being too drunk last night, because Twitter says so". And that's the bottom line. I see more and more people are hopping on the Twitwagon. I just can't bring myself to do it. It seems like an exercise in pointlessness. For celeb updates and sports news, it seems feasible, but it seems like most people use it for stuff like "just went to the bathroom and flossed my teeth lol". |

Is it possible to have one Twitter account be 'owned' by multiple people? I thought about a collaborative NM Twitter, for everyone to post non-sensical stuff for advertisement. Twitter seems to be imbedded in the mainstream, so I figure its a stream worth fishing. |

I'm not sure how they do it, but Ron & Fez/Opie & Anthony have a twitter set up that displays the tweets of all of them and their staff/friends/etc. Basically one master twitter page that holds the twitters of all the people. |
