Guy bought a missile base and converted it to his home. The steel in those bay doors itself must be worth $100,000

5 Signs You're Addicted to Facebook:
http://www.cnn.com/2009/HEALTH/04/23/ep.fa...dict/index.html

The whole article seems like total bullshit CNN is pulling just to cash in on a social networking site that was hott 5 minutes ago and trying to get a shock factor.

Kinda feels like CNN is stooping to FOX News level, I hate fucking articles like that...

Forgot to comment on that missile silo home that Gandy linked. I've seen one ontv before and that one was super neat too. I think the whole idea is pretty really awesome neat and would probably be cool to stay in for a week and just explore.

Blown-away Chihuahua reunited with owners
WATERFORD TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Tinker Bell has been reunited with her owners after a 70-mph gust of wind picked up the six-pound Chihuahua and tossed her out of sight.

Dorothy and Lavern Utley credit a pet psychic for guiding them on Monday to a wooded area nearly a mile from where 8-month-old Tinker Bell had been last seen. The brown long-haired dog was dirty and hungry but otherwise OK.

The Utleys, of Rochester, had set up an outdoor display Saturday at a flea market in Waterford Township, 25 miles northwest of Detroit. Tinker Bell was standing on their platform trailer when she was swept away.

Dorothy Utley tells The Detroit News that her cherished pet "just went wild" upon seeing her.

Not a man in the world could read this story without tearing up a little bit...

Elderly man mistakes card for noisy neighbors
May 6, 2009 - 12:15am

BERLIN (AP) - German police said an elderly man was so annoyed at hearing the same serenade over and over that he called authorities to report his neighbors _ only to discover the culprit was a musical greeting card on his own windowsill. Police said Tuesday the 82-year-old from Goslar in central Germany told officers he was sick of the music, which would come at irregular intervals and at all hours.

Upon further investigation, police found the musical greeting card on his windowsill, where occasional breezes opened the card just enough to play an irritating tune.

Police said the retiree was happy to find out his neighbors weren't trying to annoy him.

He suffered a fatal blow to the head from the vat's agitator, a paddle-like mechanism used for stirring the chocolate According to the Camden County prosecutor's office, three other people were on the platform at the time. One was able to shut the machinery off quickly, but it was too late to save Smith The facility, owned by Cocoa Services Inc., is managed and operated by by Lyons and Sons The rectangular vat, which was 8 feet deep, 14 feet long and 6 feet wide, was churning a batch of chocolate for Hershey's when the accident occurred, the prosecutor's office said

Jamaican athletes fail drug tests
Athletics generic image ((lol this is what came out when I copy and pasted a picture from the article))

Five Jamaican athletes have tested positive for a banned substance, the sport's governing body has confirmed.

The athletes - four men and one woman - are not thought to include any of Jamaica's 2008 Olympic medallists.

IAAF spokesman Nick Davies said: "It's very early in the process so we cannot name them or the substance."

An unnamed Jamaica Anti-Doping Commission (Jadco) official had earlier told news agency Reuters: "None of the world stars are involved."

Dr Herb Elliott of Jadco told Radio Jamaica that all five of the athletes had been selected for Jamaica's 46-strong team for next month's World Championships in Berlin.

A disabled man traveled 130 miles by wheelchair to propose to his girlfriend, only to have his offer rejected. According to the Daily Mail, the 67-year-old traveled for four days across Germany, using only his arms to push the chair. After the 66-year-old widow turned him down, he started the journey back home, but had to be rescued by police when his wheel got stuck in a cornfield.

Microsoft apologizes for changing race in photo
Tue Aug 25, 2009 11:26PM EDT

LOS ANGELES -

Software giant Microsoft Corp. is apologizing for altering a photo on its Web site to change the race of one of the people shown in the picture.

A photo on the Seattle-based company's U.S. Web site shows two men, one Asian and one black, and a white woman seated at a conference room table. But on the Web site of Microsoft's Polish business unit, the black man's head has been replaced with that of a white man. The color of his hand remains unchanged.

The photo editing sparked criticism online. Some bloggers said Poland's ethnic homogeneity may have played a role in changing the photo.

"We are looking into the details of this situation," Microsoft spokesperson Lou Gellos said in a statement Tuesday. "We apologize and are in the process of pulling down the image."

Student kills intruder with Samurai Sword

someone facebook these kids, I want to know what non-Asian owns a Samurai Sword. I'm guessing Guido considering his name, state, and "outgoing but not talkative" (aka douchey).

What makes you think it's not an Asian?

But to answer your question, A1 has a sword and I'm sure pics are on the way!
