This is pretty interesting because I think it describes 100% the way my mindset has changed in the past few years. This guy talks about the "cognitive surplus" that people have now, and that people are I guess using their "tought power", for lack of a better term, to entertain themselves rather than sitting in front of a tv screen. I always thought I was weird because I cannot sit an watch a tv show for more than like half an hour, so its nice to see that there is some sort of evidence of a generational shift. This type of shift is what is separating those who can be endlessly entertained by themselves, and the people that can't sit in a room for five minutes without resorting to please of "I'm bored."
