What's the most money you've ever spent on a pair of kicks (or would be willing to spend on a certain pair.) This includes boots and sports shoes - The most I ever spent was $100 when the Nike Shox came out because our whole basketball team was getting them my junior year, and they're still my favorite shoes ever. I think it was worth the purchase even though they only take about $5 to manufacture. I'd probably buy a pair of Timberland boots too, for $100...but I don't think I could ever see myself buying Jordans for $200-$250. |

The most I've ever spent has been 60-80, I can't really remember. They were for some badass boots that I needed for landscaping. I have no style so I'm not going to waste money showing that point off. |

I realized that I just like shoes with really thick soles. You can buy a nice pair of generic jobber shoes with thick soles at target for like $20. When I rode my bike around for transportation the last few years I'd always have to spend money on newbalance or something and those always ran like $80-100, and thats just so my feet wouldn't die after a week of bike pedaling. |

If you have wide feet, New Balance is the shit. My dad and I both wear exclusively NB, and we're not gonna lose them anytime soon. |

NB are real nice shoes. I would recommend them to anyone who regular participates in physical activity. They are the only shoes I'll run/work out in. |
