And please do go into detail about your favorite brands, drinks, mixes, etc.

Vodka - Svedka. Cheap, about 14 bucks for a 1/5th.
Gin - Bombay. The first time I drank gin was when I was a freshman in high school. Let's just say that was not a fun experience. But on new years I threw down my share of Bombay and it wasn't too bad.
Whiskey - They're pretty much all disgusting but Wild Turkey and Jim Beam might take the cake.
Scotch - I hope no one answers this one.
Brandy - Not too much experience with this one but I'll throw out LeRoux because that's the only kind I can remember having.
Wine - Not a big wine fan, but I will drink it.
Beer - St. Paulie Girl
Rum - Bacardi 151, one of the nastiest, but most effective. It doesn't even taste good when mixed with anything, so grab a shot glass, take a deep breath, take it down and chug something delicuious quick.
Liquer - Yagermeister was the only one I could really think of offhand, but that shit is delicuous. I recommend it for those who were big fans of Grape Dimeatapp as a kid. Even if you didn't like Dimeatapp, I bet you'll like this shit. This and Southern Comfort might be the only drinks I could go a pint with without a chaser. But I probably wouldn't want to, but you know what I mean. shawty whatchya drank?

I explained myself in detail in the beer thread, but I prefer beer because everything else makes me puke. :)

Vodka: Vodka has long been one of my worst enemies. Vodka springs to mind such memories as splitting a $5 half gallon of Korski's with a guy, only for the vodka to taste like cemented puke chunks. I did eventually try Grey Goose, and even though its reportedly for fags, it was a real good drink.

Gin: This was a favorite of some of my friends, but I never cared for it much.

Whiskey: The progeny of the SimDaddy era. I've said about all I can say about whiskey over the years, and some of you probably even witnessed it back in the day. Jim Beam was something of a mentor, for me. If there's a type of liquor thats good for shooting revolvers into the air, whiskey is it.

Brandy: "Brandy, you're a fine girl" -- just one of the many anthems for my 2001-2002. One of thee only drinks I can drink on its own.

Wine: I drank wine when the Cubs won the 2003 NL Central. Peter Steele also drinks wine while performing, which is just classy.

Beer: Real beer I can still drink, but all that crappy domestic stuff I've had just about enough of.

Rum: I had a small run rum gimmick for awhile. The Bacardis of the world never treated me that great, but Captain Morgan and myself did set sail for high seas and adventures more than a few times.

Liquor: I think this is just a micellaneous category. I know other stuff falls into place here, but all I can think of is Southern Comfort, which we all know served as my flagship booze for as long as I can remember. I used to be able to down a fifth of black label with no trouble. With this most recent bottle I bought (first since 2002!), I've drank 3 nights off of it, and its only 1/4 of the way down! My, how the times change.

Tell Young Jeezy that Grey Goose is for fags, he'll cap you yo. But personally spending 60 bucks for a label that will be gone the next night was never my big thing. I'd rather go with Svedka (half decent tasting) for 14 bucks a 1/5th instead of 60 (3/4th's tasting)

Vodka: Popov, $9 for a plastic bottle of it! when you pay 9 for all that liquor, you dont give a shit how it tastes

Whiskey is good. Bullet and Knob Creek are my faves,

Good brandy is nice and smooth as well, I have has some nasty homemade versions of it though.

I don't have much experience with scotch, and I'd like to develop my palette for wine, but the good stuff is too expensive. I've tried stuff at local wineries though and I think I have a preference for the darks, like merlot or whathaveyou.

I love love love good beer and I could name tens of beers that I'm a big fan of. For the best and most interesting flavors always try local brews and stay away from domestic lights. My favorite around this area is Boulevard Brewing in KC and their Boulevard wheat is *****.

Call me a redneck and/or hick (but not a hillbilly because hillbillies are from Tennessee and I fucking hate Tennessee), but I have tried a couple times to have a run for a week or so of various wines, red and white, and just can't get my palette into any of them. In the end no matter how hard I try to convince myself that what I am drinking is good AND sophisticated it all ends up tasting like fucking blood (yes, blood that is created through the process of fucking, if you've never tasted fucking blood imagine regular blood instead).

I suppose when the people you're fucking risk losing their baby teeth as they struggle, there's bound to be blood.

I think wine tastes like easter egg dye myself; a unique mixture of vinegar with a splash of ass. I've only had red wine though, never white.

I'm a big fan of The Macallan single malt. But just about Johnnie Walker above Red will do.

As for Whiskey, you can't go wrong with Jameson.

I've had some pretty bad run ins with vodka and gin, but I will induldge in them from time to time. Mainly vodka since I love White Russians, but I'm not really a gin and tonic fan. Whiskey is my drink of choice however; Jameson and Michael Collins are great Irish whiskeys, domestically Jim Beam and Evan Williams taste just about the same to me. Just as long as no Kessler bourbon is involved, I'm good with the whiskey.

Rum is so so, tequilla is much better...not sure why everyone can't handle that but will swig vodka like its water, and jagermeister is divine. Haven't gotten the affinity for wine yet, but I can recognize the difference between good and bad wine. It's just not my drink of choice. I'd say Sake is a dark horse though...go with the warm though as opposed to the chilled

While Kessler's crapiness is virtually unparalleled...I speak from the experiences of having about 5 or 6 of us pass around a 1.75 and take shots till the bastard was completely empty. Lots of mayhem after that
