All the comparisons between GW Bush and Obama got me thinking, who would win in a fist fight? Which led to me thinking, who would win in a fighting tournament of every president ever, in their prime? The only name I can think of as the take-all winner is Teddy Roosevelt. Who else could compete for the crown? |

Andrew Jackson was a punk. I think he has a good chance |

Yeah I gotta guess Jackson, Teddy, or Washington. Jackson was in a fuckload of duels and gave a guy first shot in one of them, after which he shot the guy dead and never removed the bullet. I found a quote of his lookin for some backup "I have only two regrets: I didn't shoot Henry Clay and I didn't hang John C. Calhoun." |

You gotta go with the earlier guys because you know they were tougher than the newer guys. I would seed and set up a tournament if there's enough interest. |

Eisenhower was big in the military, that's gotta count for something in this. He's got the training. |

Military service used to be a pre-requisite for the Presidency, practically every President had served up until recently. None of the 2012 candidates have either. |

Yeah but Eisenhower didn't just serve, dude was basically in charge of the military for WW2. Also props to Grant for putting one in the win column with the civil war |

I tell you this much for sure, Andrew Jackson would be the most fun to troll. You figure the other guys have some patience and know how to get off good insults themselves, but you can just tell Jackson would be the type to just go off. He'd be challenging you to duels, saying he'd be whippin you with his ol hickory stick if you were in the room, and you're like just like "lol 2 bad im not huh". Oh President Jackson, we hardly knew thee. |

Garfield was ambidextrous so he's got that to his advantage. I'm assuming Lincoln would have the longest reach. Taft has the weight advantage over anyone. But I'm going with... Zachary Taylor. With interference from his wife.
