Which of us will be voting, and for what seats? I will be going to the polls at 8 in the morning (fuck the AM!). Up for election is governor, a couple state seats, Grassley's seat, and some attorney generals scattered here and there. Governor being the obvious big one. If we lose this election, Iowa is heading back to the Cold War era of living standards. Do us and yourself a favor and get out there to vote this Tuesday! |

We've got both Senators up for re-election, Governor, State Attorney-General. None of them have much suspense. The Democrats should win them all. Same with my particular house seat |

Actually Gandy, only Schumer is up for re-election. Gillibrand has never been elected to that seat before! I'm not sure what the correct term is but that's not it. There are close state senate and assembly races in my district. (I have the same Assembly seat as Gandy and TGoz, but I think our State Senate seat differs.) The current Assemblywoman lost the primary but is still running, which I think will hand the seat to the Republican. But we will see! |

We got governor, which O'Malley is gonna win. We got senator Mikulski's spot up for grabs but she's popular even at like 74 or however old she is, so she's gonna win. Then our house seat is Elijah Cummings but he's awesome. One of the more liberal senators, which is what our district wants, but also the most cool. Everytime he's on TV he speaks really down-to-earth and doesn't get caught in political fights, always just bringing up how policies will affect the people. Plus he responds to e-mails really quickly, even on the random shit I always e-mail about. |

I was voter #28 in line. Someone in the room was definitely guilty of shitting themselves. It had that diapershit smell to it. Everyone in the room was older than 60. You make the connection there. Voted for Gov, Senate, Rep, attorney general, secretary of state, treasurer, auditor, and countless other local seats. If Chet Culver doesn't win this election, the state of Iowa is doomed! |

In New York we vote for judges too. Theres always like four choices and you pick three. Sweet gig to run for! I should run. Since it's an elected position you probably don't even need a law degree. |
