Who can explain what the F this is about. It seems like more controversy and less substance. I've read the reports, but it seems like it was nothing but stuff I already knew. Is there something I'm missing in this case?

Basically its a website that leaks private military documents that the american public would not hear in the mainstream media. It leaked a video of an american chopper gunning down innocent civilians, shortly after, julian assange, the owner of wikileaks, was charged with 2 seperate rape charges from 2 different women. Both were immediately thrown out. I personally haven't read any of the documents because when they leak, its usually thousands of pages at a time, but I can imagine what kind of info they contain. If you go to "abovetopsecret.com" and stay clear of the discussions about aliens, you can find some really great stuff about wikileaks and a bunch of other "crazy" topics.

I recently remember reading Assange was trying to do the same about the KGB in Russia. When I heard that I went to Bodog to see if there were any lines on how much time he had left on this planet.

ATS can provide some nice insights at times. It's very difficult to steer clear of aliens or reptilian-Jew-overlords. It's also chock-full of "awakened" folk who don't take kindly to disagreement. A number of them get quite defensive when you question what they have to say, retaliating with labels of "sheeple" and the aforementioned reptilian-Jew-overlords controlling you.

If you have the time to sift through all the bullshit it's pretty cool. I just wish less people on there would use Alex Jones' infowars as a resource.

Concerning WikiLeaks, they recently released the Afghan and Iraq war diaries. Two of the biggest classified document leaks in history. There really isn't anything in either of those that you would find surprising, standard war things. Some government officials are pretty upset about it because it reveals specific methods and they think that if the enemy reads through all the mundane details they will have a really good idea of how the US and NATO forces function.

Lolz, trust me Joe, reptilian jews aren't even close to some of the stupid shit on there, but like you said, there is a ton of amazing articles and information on there that would never be put on mainstream media. Glad to hear from you again and glad to see someone else recognize what a joke alex jones is. smot kwah flark smei!

Dave, I am well aware of some of the outlandish things said on that site. I was looking to see if they had any scoops on the Foundation X-House of Lords ordeal (http://www.guardian.co.uk/commentisfree/2010/nov/03/strange-case-lord-james-foundation-x), with one of the posters posting this,

"I have been reading, in another context, that the Queen actually put the British Isles up as security on some kind of backroom, dark deal and can't repay the debt, and that she is bankrupt, moreover - and that as a result, Switzerland now officially owns British Isles. I cant confirm this, but nothing would surprise me any more"

The tinfoil hat folks who believe that the Queen is one of the major players on the world stage are probably in the same camp as those who believe Jesus was the child of Cleopatra and Julius Caeser. The most disappointing thing is that some of these people put so much effort into seeking their "truth" that I can't help but wonder what they could accomplish if they spent half as much time trying to solve real problems, like starvation or cleaning our surface waters.

I don't question the power of the Queen. However, if she's so fancy let's see her go two vertical and one horizontal or two horizontal and one vertical all in one turn. Not a bitch, but still a single piece on the board.

Can't say that I have read any conspiracy theory books, not that I recall anyhow. I've done plenty of reading on the internet of various conspiracies, as painful as that can be at times.

Now that I think about it I read Holy Blood Holy Grail at one point, it's conspiracy-ish. I really didn't absorb much of it though.

I've done the same w/ abovetopsecret.com, illuminati project on youtube, empire of the city, and probably about 10 other documentaries. I read about 75% of william cooper's "behold a pale horse" and am now reading david icke's (I know, he believes in reptilians but he is really, really smart and I choose to ignore the 5% of things involving them) "guide to the global conspiracy."

My personal belief on these kind of guys is that they are allowed to reveal certain information as long as they mix in some bullshit, which Icke does very well. I think its cool to hear different "far out" viewpoints. If these guys were really getting to the 100% truth, they'd be taken out quicker than a hollywood publicist. Their job is to instill fear, confusion, and chaos, and they do an amazing job at it, but its up to the reader to determine and discover the bullshit.

It's definitely something fun to investigate, although it's borderline impossible to separate some of the half-truths, disinformation and misinformation from the reality of things. There's also a scary line to be crossed where you let the conspiracies consume you. I worked with a fellow who was of moderate intelligence but he got way, way too invested in vast conspiracies. He's in his early to mid-forties. It's really pretty disturbing to see what that obsession can do to a person. I try to limit myself to dabbling.

You know, I like David Icke. He is very off the wall, but even his most outlandish ideas can be fun. He's actually gone from reptilians to energy beings that exist outside of the range of visible light, or any light humans can observe. These beings possess the world leaders, which are really just selectively bred shells to be used. Then they do some virgin sacrifice type shit. If I can find the video I'll post a link to it. Dude's out there, but his message is solid. He wants people to be who they are, not to limit themselves because society tells them to be a certain way. I think there are two options, he's either as crazy as he might seem, or he realized how difficult it is to get your word out there in this era of non-stop consumption of mass media, so he donned his batshit insane persona to spread his personal philosophy.

Speaking of those who are out there, have you ever read any Ceanne DeRohan? I've only read the introductory book she wrote, "Right Use of Will" but she takes an extremely outlandish approach, with some solid ideas interspersed throughout. It's basically like reading a fantasy novel, but written by a philosopher who thinks they are the mouth of some great Creator. I don't think it's the Christian God she thinks she speaks through, but I'm not entirely sure, the book left me mildly confused.

Nah I never heard of herbut am always interested in stuff like that. I don't let the theories overwhelm me, I kinda just accept the fact there isn't much I can do to change opinions or this world in general, I don't regret it one bit and wish I had gotten into this stuff in high school because history class would have awesome. I kinda feel like I know where this country is headed and am more focused on improving my life and others while not forcing my beliefs on anyone, but if people want to discuss those subjects I can go on for weeks.
