"He's Arnold, Arnold, Arnold Rimmer".
Is it true that old things are better i.e Games Consoles? I have been having this arguement with my friend at shchool, we always have arguments, and he thinks older is better. He says that if you have a really old chair from a rich persons houe that's better than a new chair from a rich persons house.
I was wondering if old actually is better. ANyone know?

Your claim is that the Playstation is better than the Playstation 3? It may as well be. A chair is a chair. It has to be a certain type of chair to have any value. Nobody would py anything if you sodl two chairs marketed only as 'New' and 'Old'.

And the games are always better

No they aren't. All of this new crap like Kane & Lynch or Halo is nothing compared to a round of Timesplitters 2 with a few friends. Or yourself, even.

I'll agree with that.

Unreal Tournament 3 was dissapointing, Unreal Torunament beats Unrel, Unreal 2, Unreal Tournament 2, Unreal Tournament III and Unreal Championship.

Timesplitters 2 rocks. Same with SSBM and the legend of zelda games, although they are'nt really that old. Old games, are good games. Ah, but by the same token, expensive games are good games also. The older the game is, the gooder it is. Ah, but by the same token, the more expensive the game is, the gooder it is also! *Oringinaly from black books but with wine instead of games.

Well it depends on the series tbh. I mean with Nintendo the more classic games will always be seen as the best, but there are certain aspects of newer versions and series that make current gen gaming more entertaining. I mean, how fast can each of us complete games like Donkey Kong, Super mario Bros. and A Link To The Past? They're p*ss easy games. More complicated games, like Metroid Prime, have been introduced which give more hardcore gaming. Plus obviously graphics is a bonus, so we can view the backgrounds and renders better, and it gives it a bit more of a realistic touch to the games, which helps us be more interactive with the games.

Tbh it's hard to say what is better when both have different aspects that are greater than others
