Link The government has today published its findings by Tanya Byron. Surprise surprise, it concluded that video games are making our children violent and that children should not be allowed any privacy on the Internet. Byron is clearly just doing this as publicity for her books. Seriously though, they had this dumb woman on the news who was saying that he kid was getting violent by playing on his "Nintendo monkey ball banana thing". Same woman who thought that the Internet was only 15 years old :|... |

I pity them for their stupidity. ;) This is complete bulls**t. ^_^ Oh well, I guess it doesn't really affect me anymore. I still feel sorry for the kids of parents who believe it though. :p |

Fixed. Pah, he internet hasn't made ME violent, just insane... My violence has come from TV and movies. Although thanks to legend of zelda I can wield a sword quite well. |

But also from Zelda you've learnt that no matter how hard you try, you can never harm people. :p This is why so many animals and beasts die instead. ;) Especially chickens! |

You know, if they'd interviewed me about it I would have told them that in no way have video games made me more dangerous or violent, if anything its the rap and gangster music I listen to that encourages this but thanks to games like the legend of zelda I have been helped to know the difference between right and wrong, and that you should always campaign for what is right, although not saying it hasn't taught me how to fight, thanks to games I'm now prepared for the iminent zombie invasion. |

What is a man?

They ignore the positive effects of videogames though... some games have provided examiner-impressing words for GCSEs (I've made it my aim to get Castlevania references in as many GCSE essays as possible, got 2 in English, one in History mock (all three being the names of pieces of music from the games :p )), Grandia made me learn piano, there are other things... :0 Oh no! Dr Kawashima is turning our children into violent, knife-wielding thugs with his sick "Brain Training" :0 |

Well they are just using video games as a scapegoat, something to push all the blame on, there'sbeen no evidence to support the statement that videogames have made people more violent it's probably more to do with the society we live in now and the weakness' in law enforcement and a lack of discipline nowdays as children according to the government shouldn't be told that they are doing something wrong <_< . |

Do not try and eat the cake, only try and realise the truth.

I would have told them that the only reason I'm violent is because they keep pushing global warming in my face in school. Then tell them to go swivel. Aaah yeah. Anyway, I can't say I'm shocked. But I have had an idea. |

If my parents can get into my stuff I'd be suprised, as I set all the answers to my secret questions to rediculous stuff. Whats your mothers maiden name? PEANUTS! Its not actually peanuts, her name or the answer, I wouldnt be that stupid, and even if I did put the real answer I dont know if my parents would get it, as her maiden names polish, golebyowski, Im not sure how you spell it, think theres a U in there somewhere, Ive asked my mum how to spell it before and she didnt know. |
