Where are you guys getting MK8 from? There are plenty of deals going around, including getting a $10 Gas card(which is really just a $10 MasterCard, so you can use it anywhere), and Dell is running a promotion where, if you buy MK8 from them, you'll get a $25 eGift card to their store. Not bad!

Where are you guys getting it from?

I have a strict non-disk policy with myself and vowed to never buy games from a store anymore (I've been trying and it has worked pretty well so far! Yay for next gen!) so I will most likely buy it on the Wii U eShop. I could use that gas card, though. My truck eats gas like a motherfucker.

I have a strict non-digital policy with myself until digital is my only option.

I still haven't decided, yet, if I'm even going to get Mario Kart 8. If I do get it, it will probably just be from my local EB games.

I really only get digital titles if there's an incentive to - for example, if you get the game digitally on the eShop and you have a deluxe set, you essentially get $10 back in your eShop account after claiming the code. So that's pretty useful if you're doing only digital. Of course, the WiiU doesn't have a real hard drive, so unless you've got it hooked up to a hard drive, you'll end up buying it physically eventually, anyway.

I do prefer physical copies, personally, though. I really like being able to "touch" what I paid for. I'm also a sucker for packaging and disc art.

But $25 gift card is super nice....

Probably a digital copy. I need more things on my 2 TB Wii U hard drive.

@Ice: I'm just sick of having to constantly change the disk in order to play a game. It's so nice being able to just sit down and play any game whenever you want.

Haha. Maybe I'm just living in the stone age but I don't mind taking a step and a half to the shelf that has my game on it and then popping it into the system. Like Ice I am also a sucker for hard copy's, mostly for collecting reasons. I loves the package art, booklet etc. Also I like knowing that if someone spills something on my console I won't lose all the games I ever purchased for it along with the console. It may be unlikely, but I always feel having a lot of paid-for digital content on any device is an unnecessary gamble. Especially when I'd rather have a real copy of the game anyway.

    As for MK8, I don't have a fucking WiiU! :D

Actually... just recently, for the first time ever, I've come to understand LK's sentiment about popping in different games all the time.

I've been doing Layton's "Puzzle a Day" thing, where they reward you for solving at least one puzzle every day. And switching between Layton and Animal Crossing ALL the time is beginning to be a pain - I've even found myself wishing that I had one of them digitally downloaded, heh.

As for Mario Kart 8, however, I will be purchasing a physical copy. I'm not sure WHERE, exactly... probably Best Buy or something. Actually yeah, I have a gift card there.

^Exactly, Shroob has my back! But yeah, it's especially useful on the PS4 and Xbox One because the UI is so fast and snappy. You can be in one games then the next in seconds. It's super convenient.

Still psyched for MK8, BTW. :)

Asses to you I say! Why this actually reminds me of a story from my days back in Nam. Those were the days! Let me tell you! So there I was in the foxhole with..............
