Hey. Hey LK (and everyone!). I got a little somethin'-somethin' for you. Yer welcome ;D

Overall Ice I very much agree.

The Digital Event - while not perfect - was definitely one of their best presentations in a long time. The intense self-referential humor, the build-ups, the focus on the games (even if there was way too much focus on a certain couple), the trailers and teasers... it was very nice. And yeah, Treehouse was pretty amazing, at least for the first day and a half or so (when it was all new games and Smash). It's a brilliant idea that seemed to go over well not only with the fans, but with the Treehouse members themselves!

Also, what do you mean about Audry? I saw here there, but not for very long. I mean, what do you mean when you say "she went from IGN to Nintendo directly".

Captain Toad is probably my most exciting thing, just because I loved those parts of 3D World and actually thought it would be super cool if they were expanded into a game on their own. Although a full retail release? They'd better make it worth it, because what we saw here was just a few standard stages.

Yoshi's Wooly World looks pretty great, as well, even if they DID talk it to death during the Digital Event. The best part is that it's being made by Good-Feel, who have a track record for fantastic music (see: Kirby's Epic Yarn, Wario Land: Shake it, Mii Force). So if nothing else I can't wait to hear the game's soundtrack.

Other than those two, and Zelda and Smash, there wasn't too much in the way of my personal tastes, although seeing new IPs is ALWAYS very nice - and Nintendo had 4 if I'm not mistaken (S.T.E.A.M, Miyamoto's two, Splatoon)! I'm still kinda of disappointed we didn't hear much more about Zelda U... but Hyurle Warriors is looking really nice, and I'm sure they'll throw us a bone or two in upcoming Directs.

Oh yeah, S.T.E.A.M. It looks like it has a lot of heart. I mean, Abe Lincoln leading the charge against aliens in a steampunk, comic book-inspired world? It's pretty fantastic. Intelligent Systems is developing too, which is a big plus.

EDIT - OH and of course Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire. November 21st, here I come.

She actually worked for IGN for about...a year, I think? Maybe two? She was the main Nintendo Editor before Jose Otero, and then I guess Nintendo picked her up as a localizer for the Tree House.

Also, for anyone interested, GoNintendo's flickr has INSANELY high resolution artwork and screenshots from E3 - ranging from official Smash 4 artwork to Captain Toad screenshots. Seeing those screenshots at such a high resolution really shows off the detail Nintendo puts into their games. (Specifically, this one here. (You need to click the little 3 dots on the side, click more, then click download, and you can download it at a staggering 5000x5000 resolution. )

Oh my god Audrey Drake is THE WORST. When she was on IGN she was basically like, "Nintendo game? 10/10!"

@Shroob: I'll believe that Metroid stuff when I see it.

If there is a Super Mario Sunshine sequel I will die from excitement.
    Add me on Steam, maybe.

@Shroob, I actually saw that on Reddit a few days ago! I know it's not a confirmation of a second game, but I can't help but be excited anyway.

Man I would buy like 5 copies directly from Nintendo World just to remind them that making a Sunshine 2 is pretty much just promising themselves all of my money.

I still don't get why people don't just make tutorials an optional thing, everyone likes that.
    Add me on Steam, maybe.
