Here is all all the information that was released in today's AWESOME Nintendo Direct : The Legend Of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds ![]() The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds will launch on the eShop November 22. A Link Between Worlds has a new trailer, and the first of four 15-second mini-trailers for the game debuted today on Nintendo’s Instagram page. Nintendo also detailed a number of characters, including Irene and her magic broom; Seres, who is trapped in a painting; and Gramps, who can help facilitate battles with other players encountered via StreetPass were also shown during the Nintendo Direct session. The Milk Bar was also confirmed, but you will have to use Zora’s flippers to swim through Lake Hyrule to get there. During the session, NoA president Reggie Fils-Aime also showed off the previously confirmed 3DS XL bundle for the game, which will launch for $219.99 in North America. It comes with a digital copy of the game and a 3DS XL decked out in gold-and-black coloring with the Triforce on the exterior. The game launches in stores and on the Nintendo eShop for $39.99. Bravely Default ![]() With a lot of buzz around Bravely Default, today's Nintendo Direct broadcasts brought positive news regarding an early chance to play for Europeans, as well as a release date for North America. In the European broadcast Satoru Shibata confirmed that a demo for the title will be released on the eShop today, though at the time of writing it hadn't quite arrived. The Nintendo of Europe boss also went into some detail to explain different moves and their impact in battle — the Default option allows characters to auto-block, Brave allows multiple hits on enemies, while the Bravely Second feature stops time in battle. In good news for 3DS RPG fans in North America, however, the title finally has a firm release date for the region — it'll arrive on 7th February 2014. Nintendo also showed a brief trailer for the Collector's Edition that's coming to both regions; it includes the game, an art book, a soundtrack CD and 34 augmented-reality cards, while the European video also showed the rather impressive Agnès figurine. The release date in Europe is, as previously confirmed, 6th December. Professor Layton and the Azran Legacy ![]() Completing the second trilogy of Professor Layton games, Professor Layton and the Azran Legacy releases February 28. Also, Nintendo showed a new trailer for this game. System Update Will Allow You To Share eShop Balances Across Wii U And 3DS ![]() During today's Nintendo Direct broadcast it was announced that players will be able to combine and share their eShop credit across their 3DS and Wii U systems. By signing into the 3DS with your Nintendo Network ID, you will be able to spend credit you have attached to that account. Likewise, any credit you register via your 3DS in the future will also be accessible on the Wii U eShop. Nintendo has also confirmed that other services will begin to make use of the Nintendo Network ID sign-in, which could possibly hint at a unified account system appearing in the future. Nintendo's Miiverse Social Network Finally Makes Its Way To The 3DS ![]() Today's Nintendo Direct update delivered the welcome news of combined eShop credit across the 3DS and Wii U systems, but this came with another positive piece of information: Miiverse is finally coming to Nintendo's handheld. Miiverse launched with the Wii U last year, and a web-based version was released not long after. Smartphone apps are also planned. Here's the official word from Nintendo: "A December system update will allow users to register their Nintendo Network ID for Wii U on their Nintendo 3DS systems and combine Nintendo eShop account balances...this system update will also mark the beginning of Miiverse support on Nintendo 3DS. With a Nintendo Network ID, users will be able to connect with other players around the world to share their experiences and game tips through Miiverse on Nintendo 3DS." Youtube for 3DS! Youtube update coming for Wii U ![]() During today's Nintendo Direct it was announced that the popular video sharing website YouTube will be coming to the Nintendo 3DS. A date is yet to be specified, but Nintendo said that it will arrive later on this month in both Europe and North America. You can easily view videos on the go with this more-than-welcome application once you have internet access. You'll be able to browse various videos on the bottom screen while watching a different video on the top screen. The YouTube app for the Wii U will receive an update at some stage next month which will enable this feature on that system, too. After users perform the software update, people will be able to use the YouTube application to watch videos on the GamePad controller or search for YouTube content while another video is playing on the TV. Nintendo Delivers Another eShop Sizzle Reel to Hype Some Download Treats ![]() During its August Nintendo Direct broadcast Nintendo of Europe released a rather awesome eShop sizzle reel. ROSALINAAAAA UNIFIED ACCOUNTSSSSS That 3D World trailer was pretty much the most hype thing I have ever seen. Man, this game looks So. Darn. Fantastic. And Rosalina pretty much made my entire day :D The unified accounts thing is something that needed addressing. They indicated that in the future they will continue to think about how they can improve this and add more to it, which is awesome. I'm REALLY excited about 3DS Miiverse, as Miiverse is extremely cool, but I can never find the time to get on it with my Wii U. I didn't watch the ALBW stuff for sake of spoilers, but the music was great from what I heard. Did y'all see that Game Informer scored ALBW 10/10? I mean, reviews are just reviews, but still. That combined with everything I've seen/heard from this game makes it seem like ALBW is full of both fantastic gameplay and a lot of heart. And I was super excited to see that the conclusion of Professor Layton (Azran Legacies) finally has a release date! It'll be sad to see Layton go, but it's lookin' like he'll go out with a bang! So yeah. ROSALINAAAAAA |

Yeah, Rosalina is pretty bad ass. I'm glad they didn't just give us a generic Toad, or a random character like a HammerBro, like they did with Mario Party. She looks super slow? Maybe it's just me. Hopefully she gets the full character treatment as well - as in, she gets suits, color swaps for the abilities, etc. I think it'd be cool to have a "challenge" character, that's weak, doesn't jump far, is super slow, etc, but I kind of also want another character archtype. So I'm not sure how to feel, really. The unified accounts thing is cool. About time, I'd say. Same with Miiverse! I also really dig that we'll be able to have 3DS subforums, though I kind of wish it was organized a bit better. Pretty awesome direct over all! |

Pretty psyched about the Miiverse on the 3DS. It's my favourite feature of the WiiU. Unified accounts is good, too, but it should've already been done when the WiiU first came out. Better late then never, I suppose. |

OH And the opening of the Direct was absolutely hilarious! The interactions between Bill Trinen (sp?) and Reggie are always really funny. It's nice to see that they're having fun with these things :p @Ice and Rosalina Don't forget that she has the spin jump! As evidenced by the transition from Mario galaxy to any other Mario platformer, the spin jump really changes things, where you can get and what you can do. |

Oh of course, but that's more like a slightly gimped version of Peach's floating, when it comes to traveling. |

Oh, lol, I kinda forgot that Peach could float. I suppose you're right, then. Eh, whatever, I'm just glad Rosalina is in there at all :F I'm a little surprised that there wasn't a Smash announcement, but it's not that hard to believe. |

The Link Between Worlds 3DS is just a SUPER clever design. I really love it even though its so simple. I'm also super excited about Rosalina. I don't know what to do, i obviously want to be Peach because i love Peach, but i like the way Mario plays more, but Rosalina! I just don't know. I'm really excited about that Mario Party game, even though i won't be able to get it at launch (cause SM3DW!!!!!) Oh and yea, so the update to Youtube, i'm happy about that. The current YT app is so much shit, so i hope it's a LOT better if i intend on actually using it. |

Rosalina has basically sealed my purchase of 3D World. Gawddamnit Nintendo, you always find a way to draw me in. I originally wasn't too keen on ALbW either because I never played ALttP but it looks better and better every time I see it. Also all those indie games look amazing I want them all. Humble eShop Bundle please. |

Humble eShop bundle would be awesome, but there's no way they'd do it ![]() Rosalina is really cool, though. Jose Ostero from IGN said that she can use power ups, so here's hoping she gets the powerup costumes, too. |

You really wanna see Rosalina in dat cat suit, eh Ice :o ...not that I didn't just squee upon seeing the screen fanta posted. You know, at first I kinda thought that Rosalina in Smash Bros was mostly a fantasy, but with this, and just the fact that she and Galaxy are so big and popular... I'm becoming convinced that it's likely. I'm trying not to get my hopes up too much, though D: Edited by Togeshroob, Nov 13 2013, 10:56 PM.

Aaaaaaaand if anyone was wondering, A Link Between Worlds is sitting at a comfy 91 on Metacritic. I'm going say that is pretty surprising. Link! |

Well I suppose that's good to hear, though it wouldn't have affected my purchase either way. @Shroob No it's not that I want to see her in a suit - I want to see the team go through and do everything without taking any "lazy" steps. Like, Nintendo just loves to reuse old art, and it's kind of annoying because it's re-used so much. I've seen that picture of Bowser reaching at the screen about 50 million times already. As an extension of that thought, they could've turned her into a Nabbit like character who just plays through the stages how she pleases, but it's cool they didn't. |
