This news has been popping up on the regular places and though there's no teanslation as of yet it basically says there will be some collaboration between Nintendo and Capcom, further details will be "directly" announced before 9/14. (probably via ND) Since that's the date of the Monster Hunter 4 release in Japan it's doubtful that it'll be the announcement of a new 'Capcom 5' ( as cool as that would be ) and more likely Nintendo themed extras in MH4. Hopefully we can hunt giant Yoshis this time around. Article and gist taken from Neogaf. |

Could be purely promotional at this point - Capcom isn't exactly an "exclusive" kind of developer. Nintendo could be just publishing some of their titles, and Capcom will likely lend a hand to Nintendo in some kind of crossover promotion, or in a minor way in a game. Like, Mega Man in SSB. |

More Capcom content on the WiiU would definitely be a boon at this point, although you're right about Capcom being total whores when it comes to exclusives, it's not totally unprecedented, although I think that's the best possible case. There's also the extremely slim chance we'll be something like the Oracle games on the GBC which were produced by Capcom. I'm hoping it's more than just promotions at this point, it's more realistic that they'll be announcing some Capcom titles for the WiiU in the same vein as the 'Director's Cut' version of Deus Ex? 'Super Street Fighter 4 U'? Who knows. Absolute rock bottom though is a Mario costume in MH4. Edit Here's an English language version of the news. |
