At first I was a little worried because of the Mario3D game. If it's simply a continuation of the 3D series, that's awesome and it looks really really fun. But if that were the Wii U's big Mario release, I would be disappointed. I don't think it is. I'm sure they'll have a full fledged Mario game later, and I'm all for getting it later too.

Mario3D, Mario Kart, and Pokemon are all must buys. Smash Bros, too, but I'll prolly only get it on Wii U.

Speaking of which, no one has mentioned that the Wiifit trainer is on the roster... At first I was like, "Uh! Are you serious?" 'Cause who cares about Wiifit? But then, seeing her moves and such, she's sort of a new unique character. I might be okay with her. We'll see. Also hooray for villager! And nice job releasing his appearance right when we're all obsessed with AC.

I'm pretty happy with this year's E3 overall. The 3rd party games even kept me interested.

^ That's because the Wiifit Trainer was revealed a little over an hour ago.

Duh. I'm just surprised no one went on here immediately after they found out to rant.

Also, is anyone going to their respective Best Buy demonstrations? The one in Colorado is about 30 minutes away for me. So my sister and I are going on Saturday. Gonna play AC in line.

I'm psyched for Smash Bros. It even looks really good on the 3DS which I was genuinely surprised about. WiiFit Trainer is a dumb character (but in a good way). Awesome idea.

Most of the games sound awesome. I'm bummed that Retro has been working on another Donkey Kong Country game this whole time, though.

I think that the trainer is pretty interesting. I wonder what else they are hiding about the game, because there is bound to be more characters.
I like the villager as well. I think he looks lame at first but once you see his moves, he is a pretty well rounded character. He seems more like a strategy type character instead of a speed or strength type.

I'll be adding more things about E3 as i get the chance. I have to look into the developer videos to figure out what new stuff they announced about the games.

Also, they said that the reason they went with the style that they did in the 3DS version was to make the characters stand out since you are playing on a smaller screen. It will help us keep track of the fighters.

I was watching the Pokemon X/Y trailer and it's pretty crazy how they're taking the time to not only render all of the Pokemon in 3D but they're also giving them all separate animations and sounds. It's crazy. I'm so fucking psyched for October 12th.

So, is the Animal Crossing villager for sure not like...your own character but sent over to Smash? I thought maybe they would have you import your own villager as the character, otherwise I think it's lame to just play as some random villager character. I'd rather play as one of the more unique and iconic AC characters. Like K.K. Slider or even Rover.

I bet each colour of the Animal Crossing character has a different face/gender so you don't have to pick the same generic character every time.

But yeah, it's kinda weird. I thought they would add Tom Nook as a fighter since he's, you know, a named character and stuff.

I also watched the "X" video (new Monolith Soft game) and that looks damn good. I don't like the futuristic setting (like the later FF games), but it could still be fun.

Wii Fit Trainer's intro video is absolutely epic. Just like Villager and Megaman's!

I'm okay with WFT (Wii Fit Trainer) because 1.) She seems to have a unique moveset, and 2.) She represents a very important era in Nintendo's history. Smash is a celebration of ALL things Nintendo, so it's only right that ALL areas be represented, even the "casual"-type area.

    EDIT: Totally a Pikachu now!

    I don't know....is this the big main console Mario game? I'm getting the feeling that it is.....but I don't know....I can't tell....

When I first saw footage of Mario Galaxy I was all like "WOW" and I went out and bought a Wii for that game, even if there would have been no other games I wanted on the console.

If this IS the big new Mario game, it looks good and I want it, but I'm not all "wow" about it. It's kinda how I felt about Skyward Sword when I first saw it....Skyward Sword didn't amaze me. I was thinking, is this really the main Zelda game?

I don't know, lately it just seems like the developers don't have the passion they once had when creating Mario and Zelda games. Don't get me wrong, I am excited about this new Mario game, I'm just not "wow" about it or amazed with it like I was with Mario Galaxy.

They don't seem to make a big deal anymore when announcing a new game, like for example, the big Zelda game, like Skyward Sword, it was like "You wanted a new Zelda game, ok, here's some artwork, are you happy?"

    I don't know though, I didn't watch any of E3.

I agree with you, Pyroll. Super Mario 3D World seemed cool but it's definitely not Super Mario Galaxy.

The new Donkey Kong game looks better than DK Returns but I wish for another 3D Donkey Kong game, like Donkey Kong 64.

I think Mega Man's transition from pixel to modern is a bit weird... He's got permanent poker face, kinda uncanny valley. But I'm really excited for Wii Fit Trainer, she looks like she'll be a really original character. Can't wait for more character announcements.
