Perhaps there was a significant portion holding out who weren't impressed with the One so figured it was WiiU time? Still. From 309th position to third in a day, outselling software. Im pressive.

I'm sure some of it is tied to the announcement, but Sony is a massive company - they could've announced some kind of product. Or it could've been the Xbox One. Who knows.

English pounds. Sterling. Although that happened like a month ago and was with certain high street retailers on the 8gb model. Not the premium which is the one enjoying the surge on Amazon UK.
