![]() The sequel that we've all been waiting for....is coming in only 2 months! The sequel to Luigi's Mansion, Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon, is releasing on March 24, 2012. Developed by Next Level Games (who developed Jungle Speed for WiiWare and Punch-Out!! for Wii), Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon takes place sometime after the events of Luigi's Mansion. Single Player Mode Professor E. Gadd has been researching ghosts in Evershade Valley. The ghosts that he has been studying are friendly. However when the "Dark Moon" breaks, these ghosts turn evil. It is up to Luigi to search for the scattered pieces of the Dark Moon and solve this problem. To do this, Luigi has to journey through three mansions. Rather than using the Poltergust 3000, Luigi uses the Poltergust 5000. Also, Luigi uses a Strobe Light to stun ghosts instead of a flashlight, however he still uses a flashlight at some points. For example, the flashlight has a feature called the Dark Light. It will shine a rainbow colored light to find things such as the path of Boos or invisible objects. Another improvement is that, instead of having a Game Boy Horror, which is like a Game Boy Color, Luigi now has a Dual Scream, which is like the original Nintendo DS. It will show a map on the bottom screen of your 3DS. Each mansion will have multiple missions. Cash and gems will help you increase your mission score. They will also help with Poltergust 5000 upgrades. Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon will have a lot more puzzles than Luigi's Mansion. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Multiplayer Mode 2 days ago, a new Multiplayer Mode has been announced for Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon. This mode is called Scarescraper. It is a series of floors where Luigi and up to three other people have to defeat the ghosts in one room before going to another room on the next floor. This will be both local and online multiplayer. There is also a multiplayer mode called "Hunter Mode". There may be other modes as well when the game gets released on March 24.
