I've played through BW, but haven't even gotten to the first gym in BW2. My least favorite game is BW, because I just didn't feel anything while going through it. It was too linear for a Pokemon game. 4th gen was pretty slow paced compared to RSE, but it made up for it with likable Pokemon. 5th gen's Pokemon were way too generic. |

I definitely recommend BW2. Everything I kinda sorta didn't like about BW is fixed for BW2. So many past gen Pokemon are available wild early in the game. Story is more polished, and the Elite Four doesn't come as quickly as it did in BW. |

3rd and 4th really do get the most crap these days, but I remember loving both of them the first play-through. The 4th Gen were probably the only games in the series I played longer the originals, and I thought that the 3rd introduced some Pokemon that really have grown to become icon additions to the series. Don't get me wrong though they had flaws. Gen 3 had a disappointingly small roster of new Pokemon, didn't allow for you to catch all the previously released Pokemon, and was the reason why you cannot trade a Pokemon all the way up from the original Generation. And Gen 4 relied far to heavily on Pokemon who evolve into/from previous generation Pokemon, and introduced location-based evolution when have become a pain in the all in the games since then, because they now have to cram in places needed to evolve Gen 4 Pokemon. |

I agree with you, M. But now, R/S/E are my second favorite games because the region and music were absolutely incredible to me. It totally made up for the fact that the new roster was small - It really didn't mean much to me. D/P/PL were wonderful as far as story goes, but like you said, a pain in the butt to get a good majority of the new evolutions. |

I wouldn't say the content in the third generation was the reason you can't trade up from the first - the reason is technology, not the game content. They could've swapped out the generational content itself for the fourth or fifth, and the result would've been the same. |

I don't know what it is, but gen 4 was the first and only generation of Pokemon I did not like. To be fair it was around this time I started just losing interest in the series, and while it's true that I didn't love gen 5, it didn't bore me to tears like 4 did. I really, really dislike Sinnoh. It totally did have a different feel to it. I mean, most all of the generations felt different, but typically in a good way. I just didn't jive with D/P at all. |

I'm thinking MewThree, guise. I can't say I'm digging the head, though. Really goofy. |

Well! I really hope this is Mewthree - or somekind of intermediate/alternate Mew clone as opposed to an "alternate forme" of Mewtwo - as that would make me like it a lot more. That said, I do quite like it, though it is certainly... surprising! Took me off guard, for sure. It almost has a kind of... chibi look to it. Let's all call it Mewnew! But ugh, they're making a big deal about the uncertainty of what it actually is. Here's the official press release (quoted from dah Beach) -
So they're REALLY leaving it open as to its true relation to Mewtwo/Mew. And they're STILL taunting us with Sylveon's type! Ughhh why are they so good at hype and speculation DDDDDD: Though I think the concept of Mewnew is really cool. X/Y seem to have to do with DNA (helixes on Japanese logos), which of course coincides with the resurgence of Mew/two/new... MOAR CLONES, MOAR SCIENCE, MOAR TEAM ROCKET |

I think that's actually really neat looking, whatever it is! Haha, I always thought Mewtwo's head looked kinda lumpy and misshapen anyway, to be honest. |

Comparison picture - Mews Everywhere! I think it looks like some kind of intermediate form, which is why I think it could be another failed clone thing. ALSO notice the eye color. Mew - Blue. Mewtwo - Purple. Mewnew - Red. Does this mean anything :o Also this - PERPEAR 4 TRUBUL Yer welcome ;D |
